September 24, 201411 yr heres a picture of mine on this thread, looks a bit better now. - http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/41989-what-can-i-do/ i'll try and help... - i dont know which red it is but my tank, i beleive, is the correct colour. - i'm 99% sure its a honda tl 250 tank - the rear brake is on the right hand side from new - sorry dont know - my engine is silver which is from new, i believe these bikes have a tl 250 engine which has been bored out to 305cc, i've been trying to get a head gasket , and failing, its from a XL 350, i had to have a copper one made in the end. i've ridden my a few times now and its had various teething problems which are slowly being sorted. hope this helps wayne Edited September 24, 201411 yr by original
November 22, 201411 yr Author Got the bike at home now, runs good, shorter than my stock TL250, the 380cm³ engine is fantastic, just like a big pre65 Made the first changes, build smaller side panels, I really dislike the fantic Tank, must be changed during winter, a Tiger cub alloy tank combinated with alloy fenders might be nice, any other (cheaper )ideas ?
November 24, 201411 yr Author That was the fraser when the last owner bought it, TLR wheels and forks, anyone here knows something about it ?????
December 27, 201411 yr looks lik its had new swingarm made up.i had one of these many years ago,i changed the swingarm as well.it would have had 2 chains and 4 sprockets fitted to keep straight line from engine to rear sprockets.
April 29, 201511 yr This Fraser was rebuild by a very skilled mechanic from Holland. I had first option to buy the bike before he started to work on the bike. But I did not go through with the sale because I started the build of my Ives S90 Honda trial (almost done). I have 2 more pictures of your bike, when it was still 280 cc. If you're interested please send me a mail at arie ad vormtekst.nl and I'll send them to you.
April 30, 201511 yr while the Fantic tank doesn't quite sit right on that frame, I love those tanks.....can you send it to New Zealand please?
