The chain and sprockets are new every thinks clean wheels straight hope it is a bearing there's a lot of cogs in there and it could be expensive if ones lost some teeth I was in the middle of the woods when I noticed and had to push it half a mile back to the van fingers crossed

The rear wheel bearing collapsed sprocket side making the chain slack so started pushing it then heard the noise its not constant it dose it like every half rotation of the wheel

U may find the chain is catching the frame if a bearing goes I would have thought it would be rough at full rotation . Take the chain off and rotate the front sprocket and make sure it rotates smoothly there will be a slight big of resistance but should feel the same all the way round . Chech for play as well up and down not in and out as the shaft does move in and out abit .

The engines nearly out of the bike now there is no play up or down the sprocket is notchy when you turn it and makes a clicking sound

Ok could be in between gears . Pull out the seal behind the sprocket and see if there is any isues with the bearing . But I gues a full strip down is called for . You could be unlucky and have some gear isues or a bush has gone hard to tell with out seeing it. Good luck

Maybe you rode the bike with the chain set too tight and destroyed the bearings in the wheel and counter shaft?
