Some help required on the topic of replacement hangers for my 06 4rt the originals are many times bent and reshaped, blob welded and releveled,

Opinions vary and have changed over the last five years or So reading through the related posts on here,

Titanium now questionable due to reported frame damage, billet alli good or or bad ?! steel/ original hangers ?.

Any Input on replacing these well worn hangers would be most appreciated.

I use standard mont hangers buy with a small 10mm rod welded to strengthen the bracket as per the ones on the future web site. Maintains standard position so no need for short brake pedal, can easily be welded and straightened if necessary and at about £20 each cheapest option

The REPSOL alloy versions, seem to be stronger than the steel ones

Looked on the sandifords web site and saw steel hangers for a 315 for about £18 a side but the 4rt hangers were showing at about £63 + a side

That can't be right

So far I've been quite pleased with the standard pegs on the 14, they've coped with my usual heavy and ugly rock riding very well, but I would dearly like a set of raptors again asap.

I've just got a set of std steels, they were £30 for the pair inc postage from craigs motorcycles.

I pretty sure the 315 hangers won't fit a 4rt (but I maybe wrong) so check before you buy ;0)

Your right, they won't fit, it was just what I found when on the sandifords site.
