Decal Dilemma

Featured Replies

After washing the bike (2015 evo factory) at the weekend, 3 decals have come off... wouldnt be so bad if you could order them individually (which you can with the standard apparantly) but you cant... so rather than buy a whole new kit which would be expensive for the sake of 3 decals... does anyone one how to clean them up (the sticky side)... and then what would be the best adhesive or tape or whatever to stick them back on...reluctant to buy a new decal kit after washing the bike about 12 times!!!! any help appreciated.

Try 3m Spray Mount glue, in an aerosol form a good stationers

Clean the sticky side with solvent brake cleaner and then apply to the 3 decals

Worked well for me and sticks like **** to a blanket

The spray glue works great. After that get a heat gun on med heat move gun up and down over sticker this will make the glue stick even better,

The heat gun is the magic bit - do it on your remaining decals too.

and make sure the other side is clean (like you can eat from it lol)

The enduro bikes are/were know for the decal falling off when looking at them.

Message whoever is selling a kit on ebay and see if they'll do the ones you want separately. If they print them and aren't jerks they'll do it. One I know who will is exs-design (I think) but don't know if they have your model. If you have an svg file any should be able to print it.

Ah yea I've actually bought some off him before... couple of years ago. Really good quality. Ill give him a bell. Cheers.
