August 30, 20169 yr anyone of you good Fellowes fitted a flywheel weight to a 250 trs , can you fit one ?? had a peek behind my cover and it looks a bit special in there cheers andy
September 7, 20169 yr Author i think it may do to suit my sh*t riding style ! i have a slow throttle which helps but just a little more help would be good. its probably not going to happen as the flywheel is an inverted type , so is not easy to bolt one on !
September 12, 20169 yr I think the TRS has a "crankshaft" bearing in the flywheel case. This may make fitting a weight a bit trickier than usual. Lower compression? Smaller bore carb? Reduce the diameter of the exhaust either at the engine or tailpipe using an insert?
March 22, 20188 yr The vertigo has essentially the same "design" at least at the flywheel, and someone makes a light and heavy flywheel weight for those bikes. Maybe soon they will make them for the TRS or something.
August 11, 20188 yr flywheel weight will make it run on, i think this can be a disadvatage for a novice.
