Grips

Featured Replies

Sherco_dude has them on his Sherco. Been told he's very impressed with them.

They look good, but Im unsure about them, they have built in bar ends incase you didnt know, and it looks asthough they are made from a foam type stuff...not sure if I trust that.

And I am also told that they are very strong...

I'll deside on the reviews...

yep ive got them, very nice feel, standing up well so far

renthal trials grips medium compound i replace them every month so i dont no how long they last

yes HRC every month cause the ends allways get chewed up cause i aint got a stand so i have to lay it on the floor and plus there only

Nice grips. Just be real careful when you install them. I used air pressure, albeit too much, and blew the one on the throttle side up like a balloon. It has not yet shrunk back into shape. There is a saggy spot not unlike an old ladies under chin waddle. I turned the grip so that part is mostly out of the way. The little insert works well as I have dropped the bike twice and the grip is still intact. Just be careful not to use too much pressure when installing thegrips.

use hairspray to put the grips on (honest!) leave for a couple of hrs and the spray must evaporate or something :D

Beta boy why not invest in a pair of metal bar ends? or even better a stand?

Just think of all that wasted money on grips when you could put it towards a new bike :D

good idea superfly

never thought about bar ends, but i havent spent that much money on grips been as i have only had a bike 6 months. also i have got a stand being being machined out of aluminium it should look great

I like the Med. Renthals too. The Dominos look spongy but I haven't touched them, only seen them in the picture. If they are spongy I don't think I'd like them. Look nice though. I wish they all came open ended with little plastic bar ends.

vasaline is the best for puting on grips as it tightins up as soon as you put it on

[vasaline is the best for puting on grips as it tightins up as soon as you put it on ] Vasoline? Are you sure you didn't mean poly-grip?

Vasoline is a lube, it wont dry out...

:o:(

Vaseline also comes in very handy when the wife and I are alone in the bedroom.

We put it on the doorknob so the kids can't get in.

Get your mind out of the gutter!
