Which one? Creuse or Aveyron.

Which route do you ride here & can you hop/bounce the bike about easily?

Sardent-Creuse. Can hop bike about a bit. Ride hard course in local trials and intermediate course in Nationals.

Nigel Dabster's the guy to speak to. He's ridden it a few times, I believe.

you will want to ride s3 its plenty tough with long dusty rides in between sections you need to be road legal too . acu will sort out licence and risk insurance

S2,s have fairly big steps but if you can ride middle course at nationals s3 could be a tad easy. Beauty is you can chop and change course if ness. Whats your best result and where?

when is it

S3 (Senior 3) is the route that requires no trick riding. if you ride S2 you need the ability to hop the bike fluently, also features bigger rocks with shorter run up. Would suit Novogar riders? I've ridden out there for 19 years now & only ever required a normal ACU licence. These days I find the other French trials a more interesting experience. The Creuse event has gone downhill since they stopped transporting your petrol and went over to 2 lap days.

Same section in 03 & our Mr Foord has less success. They gave no run up that yearso a jump was not possible.

Finally here is a famous lady rider failing an S2 section.

Have to dispute the down hill bit I find the figure of eight system works really well and you get back to the van a couple of times to refuel and spares etc. More personal choice I guess. Linda Meyer does the S2, which is nice!
