I am getting on a bit -42 and just discovering joys of trials, usually go out on Saturday for 4 hours solid riding, but when I am finished I experience a lot of joint pain for rest of day. Anyone else experience this and any remedies or supplements I can try. - cheers.

Make sure you dont go busting in to the sections once the bike is warm, do 15 mins easy stuff to let the muscles warm up a bit. Make sure you drink loads all day, before during and after even if you dont feel thirsty. Not sure what supplements you can take but there may be a few about. If this is the only exercise you do all week think about doing something like a half hour jog in the evening or morning anything to get the body used to working better. Sure you will ache if you arnt used to it, but you should get less aches as time goes on. hopefully!!!!

:D Not too much  the night before. I agree with post number 4 also. Last trial I did I turned up in the morning limping around with the sciatica playing up etc, had a good day and felt a lot better at the end of the day than in the morning. I am also 42 but it sounds better if you say you are 30- 12. Thanks

I have been using this stuff for many years, for muscle cramps after riding. It works equally well for joint pain.

It is not far short of Dr. Yohimbe's Magic VooDoo Elixer! It is amazing what all this stuff does. I have not found anything better for Poision Ivy, etc. Stops the itching, and dries it up quickly. Stops the itch on bug bites. Truely something to be tried, to be believed.

history.jpg

While making wine men discovered a distillate which we now call alcohol. During the Middle Ages monks treated the sick and comforted the dying using alcohol from their wine making. They called it "Spiritus Vini" (Spirit Of Wine), and people ever since have used it in healthcare to treat high fever, soreness, bruises, strains, and other ailments. It also cools the body on hot days, invigorates, refreshes, and is antiseptic.

With the emergence of modern medicine, a special form of alcohol appeared in hospitals and pharmacies in Germany. Known as "Franzbranntwein", my family produced this special alcohol, and began in the late 1880's to incorporate other therapeutic ingredients such as menthol and camphor into our "Franzbranntwein". Thus a new, unique and effective pain relief product had been created.

Over the past century, we have improved the effectiveness by adding many other proven herbal ingredients to the original formula giving the user an easy to use spray with unmatched benefits. Building on the success of the KOOL 'N FIT

Not BAD :P

tis' BAD :D ...thought it was familiar..i loved that album..still banging round on a tape somewhere must dig it out

gloucosamine needs to be in very large doses to be any use in the long term from what i've read. Being a 30 + 10 myself doing exercise in the week helps (mind you when i first started that just meant achin' bones twice a bloody week!) and.........as i say to the wife......the more you do the better it gets :D:D:D

Covered wagon medicine show

Take you to the place where the healing flows

Weak in spirit we got the juice

Wont save your soul it`ll shine your shoes

Treated king to kangaroo

Santa Fe to Timbuktu

Don`t be fooled by imitation

This is the stuff that cured a nation

We took the tube and the high plains too

Never stopped long just passing through

A drop of the laughter of the maids of France

Makes a hopeless cripple dance

It was really vile weather

When we got to tarred and feathered

You could hear the six guns sound

As they chased us out of town

In India we`re all the rave

Discovered that its great as aftershave

Dropped in the sea just off Japan

Swapped 20 bottles for an aqua-walkman

Immunity from ridicule

Improves your brains if you`re a fool

And I read in the Middle East

They traded some for a hostage release

Now if you`re bald it`ll give you hair

If you got straight trousers it`ll give you flares

Feeling up you`ll get depressed

Out of style here`s a brand new dress

It was really vile weather

When we got to tarred and feathered

You could hear the six guns sound

As they chased us out of town
