Hi to all, I've used this tremendous source of information regarding trials for many years, a divorce stopped my riding a few years back, but following a move to farm in north Devon, a new to me bike purchase, a desire to have fun and do local trials made me finally sign. If your interested a bought a sherco st290 of 2012 vintage bought purely on condition/price for its age, I've ridden , montesa, scorpa, beta but this is my first sherco, I intend to enjoy riding again.

Hello Fellas, I joined this cool community recently and am enjoying seeing all the nice bikes and chatter. I have 6 vintage bikes, including a 1974 TY250 in nice running condition. Also four Yamaha Xs650's from the 70's and 80's, and a 1969 Triumph Bonneville in my living room. I restore bikes. I'm looking forward to getting involved in the discussions. I've already posted an inquiry in Twinshocks about removing the autolube; hope to get get some replies to it. Dude

Hello All! I just picked up a relatively thrashed 2006 TXT Pro 280. Went out to Emma Long with the Wednesday trials group, and found its not as easy as it looks! I have no trials experience, but hope to use it to crosstrain for Rally racing. I am excited to absorb all of the information available in this awesome forum, and hopefully contribute as well! Cheers, Jason 2006 TXT Pro 2016 Husqvarna 701 Rally

Have been slowly rebuilding a Bultaco Sherpa 350. It’s almost at a stage where it can be ridden. So looking for somewhere near Dorchester I can take it for some practice (nothing to testing) not ridden for over 30 years. It’s mechanically sorted so if I survive, I plan to sort paintwork out over the winter. Any suggestions of where to practice would be helpful, have transport so can travel.

I'm an aging trials nut who has not ridden a bike for years, and I miss it like hell! Originally from South Cumbria in the north of England, my main riding years were between 1976 and 1989. I was lucky enough to take part in some great events and had some fantastic friends with who the fun and banter was second to none. although I managed to gain only an Intermediate rating with my riding, I rode in several national events in the UK, and sat waiting to ride courses alongside five world champions. My one big ambition was to take part in the SSDT, but this was never realised. I'm now waiting for a knee replacement, and hope that it might give me that new lease of life that …

Hi I'm thinking of picking up a trial bike again, my last one was a Fantic 301 so not ridden for a long time... so basically new to the sport is the best way to describe myself Is there anyone in south Cheshire who can let me know of any local meets or clubs I can join? Any advice on early GasGas bikes as that's the make I'm looking at. what to look out for, maintenance tips etc, plus any old GasGas bikes going cheap for sale you might know about (worth asking as I haven't bought a bike yet) Love to chat about bikes and such Nikki

Hi All, I am new to trials and new to this forum, so thought I would say hello. I have got myself a 2017 Beta Evo 300 SS to learn on. It is a bit of a bugger tho, it doesn't like to start, is there a knack to this? I can literally stand on the kick start and it won't budge, and it take a few kicks and a bit of throttle to start it, any advice would be really great, my knee hurts from just starting it lol. Looking forward to learning and getting back and riding in control. Cheers

Hi All, totally new to motorbike trials, rode MTB trials as a teenager. Purchased a 2006 TXT Pro 250 2 weeks ago and with no bike experience I am stripping cleaning and learning about my new toy!! I have enjoyed motorsport (tarmac rallying) both competing and spectating for many years and now. First issue is horrid clutch drag so this weekend I learnt how to remove that. I've also ordered a slow response throttle whilst I learn to ride and some other service and essential bits! I have attached a couple pics. Look forward to chatting soon. Regards Steve

Hello, just recently bought a 2013 sherco 290, I was ideally after a 250 but nothing was coming up local. I rode trials a wee bit about 17 years ago until 9 years ago but then got too busy with work & general life. I also rode the SSDT & retired due to a mechanical so that scunnered me a wee bit. Enjoying getting back out now with a few local lads & hoping to get back to competitions soon. Wee questions 1) Does anyone know the paint code for the 2013 sherco? Few scuffs & I fancy tidying the bike up a bit. 2) Do boyosen reeds make a difference? Smoother? 3) Will I notice much difference with an Ohlin rear shock? …

Hello all, I got into dirt bike riding a short while ago and then got interested in trials riding. I was watching some of the pro trials riders clips on Youtube, and also found that many of the pro Enduro riders also had trials backgrounds. When it came time that I started practicing trials techniques on my regular bike, I decided to start looking around for a real trials bike. Today I adopted a 2002 Gas Gas 280 TXT Pro for a reasonable price, the previous owner wasn't riding it as much anymore so hopefully I can give it more run time it deserves. I look forward to using the forums here as a new resource ?.

Hi all, my name is Duncan, and I’m a trialaholic. ! just getting back into the sport after a 40 year gap ? bought myself a 2018 vertigo January just gone. Joined a few clubs (Guisborough, Scarborough and Darlington) and been out practicing just about every weekend I can. although the bikes are completely different to the old twinshock I used to ride back in the day, I’m having so much fun, it seems to have taken over my life. It’s so addictive ! even bike maintenance I enjoy (just as much as the riding) anyway, I’ve just got my ACU licence through the post, so after 5 months of practicing, I’m going to enter a few local trials and see how I get o…
