Hello, my name is Wayne I ride a Gas Gas JT250 1995. My electric fan has stopped working and was wondering if any one knew where to get a replacement? I've tried Ebay and other online shops but drawing a blank at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks Wayne.

Hi to all I’m new to the community and could use the knowledge that you all have so I’ll get on with it I’ve bought a 1997gas gas jtx 270 a few weeks ago and and a few spins on it and loved it but the piston rings have gone on it and I think I need the bore honed but don’t know if it’s a nickel plated or not can anyone enlighten me any tips or knowledge would greatly appreciated thanks

Hi I'm Joe and I have a venerable old 1993 Gas Gas Jordi Tarres replica Contact T-25 aka as a JT 25 or GT 250 sometimes depending which You tube video you watch,. the bike was bought as a wreck needing :- New Suspension bearings, new clutch plates, the clutch slave cylinder screw threads needing Helicoiling, a clutch rod, CDI repairing, the plastics repairing, new water pump seal, a radiator fan switch of some kind, a fan motor rebuild new rear brake master cylinder However apart from the clutch rod, and the original light units it was all present had good compression and the motor its self felt good.and so could be made good. . . . over some considerable time

Hi all, Jeff here from Randle (Gifford Pinchott). I just bought an used 2019 Bete Evo 300. It had leaky rt fork and I'm trying to put in new seals in it. I'm trying to remove the bolt on the bottom of the fork. With the forks off I used an air impact gun and it loosened it enough for the oil to leak out. Now it just spins and I've researched the internet and cant find what I can do. Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Jeff

Hi I have a Montesa Cota 247 that I have owned for over 35 years, I haven't ridden it for at least 5 years but have had the urge to get so use from it. I put some fresh petrol in yesterday and it started second kick. I have unstuck one of the fork legs this morning and changed the oils but realised i don't have a manual, could anybody point me in the right direction to get a manual for a 1977 Montesa cota 247 Many thanks Chris from East Devon

Hello from Wisconsin! (In the crime free USA) I am an old trials rider from waaay back.....and have just recently come full circle and got a new trials bike again after many years of riding motocross/enduro/hare scrambles. I got my start at 14 years old when I bought a new Suzuki RL250, but have also owned Bultaco and Ossa trials bikes too. Just bought a new 2018 Montesa Cota 300RR and I'm very impressed with the bike and how advanced they are now. Looking forward to getting better and challenging my self through out the remaining year.......before the snow comes again and I switch equipment to the snowmobile.?

Hello. Similar to many others I have used the site a lot and thought it time to join. I bought my Bultaco Frontera back in 1986 for £100. It was in bad shape but still worked. This was all pre internet days and I was only 21 but I did have enough sense to buy the Haynes competition manual. Other than being very tatty the main problem back then was difficulty in selecting 2nd gear. Luckily I lived near the Len Savage Shop in Farnborough and he put me in touch with an old mechanic who had loads of spares and I got another selector drum. I don't know how we managed it but with some help from friends we changed the drum and it all worked. I got the bike through th…

Hi guys I am new on here and doing a project for my grandson with some leftover parts from a GT80 project. I am looking for a TY80 engine and carb possibly. I have a DT50 engine but do really want to make it what it should be. My alternative which I am reluctant to do is nick the engine from the GT80 and put that in. That motor though has a bigger carb and a YZ80 barrel. I would really need another barrel to accept the correct threaded exhaust. I don't mind a project but prefer in UK or Europe. I have seen one in USA that needs help but £200 almost postage. Thanks Albie

Hello! Name's Justin, I'm from Sacramento, CA. USA. Got a bit of the quarantine blues, and I saw a 2000 Beta 270 on-line, and figured "well that's not the dumbest thing I've ever done" It's an older bike, but it was a great deal and she runs great! Just needs a rear fender and looks like the fork seals (inverted forks) are leaking a bit, which I'm pretty sure is leaking on the front brakes (they aren't as grabby as I imagined). I've been riding trails for about 15 years on a 2003 DRZ250, but that doesn't hold be back from keeping up (or passing) the big bikes. Hi guys. Well not really got a clue about any of this or what to buy. Recently moved in with my mate who's got a trials bike and keeps mithering me to get one. Just want some help in what to go for really.
