So this years Outdoor Lites(250F) battle in the USA should be a good one! I'm sure there are some Ben Townley fans on this board right? What does everybody think? I'm sure that without any unfortunate injuries, this years Lites battle is going to be between the defending Champ Ryan Villopoto and 2004 MX2 World Champ Ben Townley. After seeing Ben hang with Ricky in the 2005 MX Des Nations I know that he is fast! Ben just won our East Coast Lites Supercross championship also. The East/West shootout in Las Vegas should be great! Don't count out Jason Lawrence either! I gonna root for Ryan but atleast we have some racing in the lites class. The premier class is pretty much a …

CAS Honda rider Josh Coppins has finished on the podium at the last two South African rounds at Sun City and won the event twelve months ago. For the 2006 edition the New Zealander picked up his third trophy and third set of silverware this season since making his comeback to the 2006 Motocross World Championship. With two second positions from the two motos today the 29 year old finalised the runner-up spot overall behind Stefan Everts and in front of Steve Ramon at the tenth round of fifteen in the FIM series. The Sun City circuit was again immaculate in its organisation. The resort, some 180km from Johannesburg and 1500meters above sea level, played hos…

Second consecutive podium for Coppins CAS Honda rider Josh Coppins gained third overall and his second podium result in two weeks today at a bright and busy Uddevalla circuit for the Grand Prix of Sweden, the ninth round of fifteen in the 2006 FIM MX1 World Championship. After a well-deserved break following three consecutive races the Grand Prix paddock reconvened in the pleasant and well-organised surroundings of the Uddevalla circuit less than a 100km north of Gothenburg. The track layout had been significantly altered compared to previous years and boasted more technical sections and jumps as well as being run in reverse. Uddevalla has been a consistent and reliabl…

CAS Honda rider Ken de Dycker was a protagonist at the Grand Prix of Benelux that took place at a warm and sunny Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard today. The weather encouraged 25,000 fans to watch the opening event of the15 round FIM World Championship. The venue located less than ten kilometres from the city of Eindhoven presented the riders of the MX1 (450cc four-strokes) and MX2 (250cc four-strokes) series' with a fresh test as the course had been significantly altered since the last World Championship visit in 2004. Several new corner sections, a repositioned start-straight and a reversal of the track direction itself meant a novel opening Grand Prix tes…

CAS Honda rider Josh Coppins produced a startling return to World Championship action today at a warm and atmospheric Matterley Basin for the British Grand Prix. The eighth round of the season initiated the second half of the 2006 campaign and a rousing 39,000 crowd cheered Stefan Everts, Kevin Strijbos and Coppins to the podium. The Matterley Basin circuit was long, elongated and dry as the usually unreliable English weather had in fact been cooking the terrain for the past two weeks and planning restrictions meant that the track had to be hastily constructed in seven days. The layout divided opinion inside the paddock with some commenting negatively on …

Wow, the "B" team got the job done. Too bad Caroli and Paulin crashed out of the final moto or it would have been much more dramatic. Great ride by Dungey. MXdN Report I got up at 3am so I could watch the Podcast live on the net thanks to FOX gear. It was worth it.

In these troubled times take this tip. Forget the Trials as they're pretty mundane at the moment. Get rid of the stress with a wee Stomp 120. This is all you need to sort you right out. Get a corner of a field and give it stick you'll be smiling from ear to ear instantly. Best grand I ever spent ,

The opening round of the 2010 FIM Motocross World Championship, at Sevlievo, Bulgaria, was a tough one for the Honda riders contesting the senior classes of motocross racing. The highest-placed representative on the day being LS Motors Honda rider Davide Guarneri who finished the MX1 GP in 10th place overall on his CRF450R. The grand prix was held in clear weather conditions with a warm spring sun shining on the perfectly prepared Sevlievo circuit on race day after a little rain dampened proceedings during practice and qualification. However, the added moisture helped mould the track
