Just bought a Fantic 303 that needs a new front tyre; tyre fitted is a tubeless Michelin, are tubeless front trials tyres still available or will I need to have the rim replaced to accept a tubed tyre ? All advice greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know anything about this event? They used to be two seperate events but looks like they've been combined. It's on the ACU fixture list for 10/7 to be organised by East Midlands centre?? I've heard nothing about it, just wondered if anyone else has.

Hi gents/ladies strictly speaking i know that this is not a trials topis but i bet some one out there has the answer i need. would a ajs stormer 370cc crank cases take a 250 barrel,head, piston and cranks??? basicaly can i make a 250 engine with 370 crank cases? many thanks james

Hello readers. I am building a pre-65 James trials bike, converting a 1955 Captain to Commando spec. I need some information about the optimum size for the rear sprocket as I don't want to buy more than one if I can help it. At the moment I have the standard clutch and engine sprocket with a 17 tooth 420 size gearbox sprocket. The rear wheel sprocket is 46 tooth 420 which gives road ratio. Clearly this is too high for trials use so does anyone have recommendations? I would prefer to change just the rear sprocket if possible but all offers of advice will be appreciated. Avise needed please. Iam building a bsa bantam trials project , not for competition use . can any one advise the best way to go to replace the front forks for more modern replacements that would be suitable for trialing . I do not wish to spend a fortune and require replacements that do not require major engineering to fit . I also understand that the bantam swinging arm will not take a modern 400 x 18 tyre with out it rubbing on the edge of the tyre . Does any know how to widen the swinging arm ? Help and advise appreciated

Hi: Just thank the IDMCC for the fantastic 2011 edition of the Highland Classic. Special thanks to the Moffat family and Paul Edwards for their generosity with me. Hello, I read much about people using a Villiers carb on their HT5 projects, so starting to think about whether it might be work experimenting with one on my 400cc G3. Is anyone out there using a Villiers carb on a 16M or G3 based machine? Any thoughts/comments as to size or mods for running a Villiers on an AMC bike? Thanks......

Just had the results through for last weekends Derbyshire Dales Trial. There appears to have been some manipulating of the results with regard to time penaltys. I say manipulating because what can't speak can't lie ! How can someone who was nearly an hour late (as per the calculation taken from his punch card) have no penaltys in the published results ? Especially after time penaltys were initally entered on the score board and the words excluded also entered by the side of his name on the day ? What is the point in people traveling from all over the UK & rushing round, when such blatant flouting of the rules occurs for certain "local" people ? Then to be told th…

Afternoon all During a day of riding on a family friends farm, we all tried to identify a bike which didn't have any clear branding on either frame or engine. All i've got is the description, no photographs as we we're all in the gear, sorry. A schoolboy sized bike, with a racing/mallard green and yellow striped single piece seat and fuel tank (metal fuel tank under fiberglass).
