Thanks again to Bill Hartnell and the other folk for a great weekend. The sections were different and mostly harder than the previous years and we loved it. Arni missed beating Ian by one mark...I hope he will come back next year. This is a question to any Spanish forum members.. last weekend a English friend of mine, resident in France went to ride a Classic Spanish trial. On arrival and presentation of his French licence was told this was no longer acceptable and the only option was to purchase a day licence at quite a cost. My question, has there been a recent change whereby Non Spanish licences are now not acceptable, when riding in Spain. I try to get down to three or four a year and would like to know before making further arrangements. It would be a real shame if this was the case, but I fully understand if its and insurance issue. I've got a rear wheel to re-build for a trials Bantam, what are your thoughts/preferances on spoke material? I'm sure stainless would look nicer if that's your thing, but I'm thinking maybe galvanised spokes might "give" a little more, does that make sense? I'm interested to know what other riders have chosen, and why......... Thanks.

I am preparing for Scottish pre 65 trial and wondered if anyone knew any availability of tubed Dunlop rear tyres. In the past I have found that with a rigid I have had less punctures with a Dunlop, I have one D801 remaining with a new edge but thought it may be worth asking the question. Thanks

Hi guys, I'm tearing my hair out here ! Have a 77 Ossa MAR 250 which won't rev out. I've tried everything plugs , carburetion , cleaned the exhaust, sent the Motoplat unit away to Spain for repair and testing. Engine is totally rebuilt on new seals and bearings. Everything in tip top condition , but it will only run cleanly to about 3/4 throttle and then misfires and won't rev out. Any ideas ? Cheers.

When having a walk round after the Angela Redford Trial I found a classic trials helmet hiding in the rushes. If the owner of a white Skidlid with a black peak would like it back please send me a PM. Hi Guy's Chris has lost his long 14 year battle with cancer and sadly passed away yesterday. Out thoughts are with his wife and daughter Sarah, who has kept me informed over the last few weeks since Chris was unable to mail me, has he did on a regular basis. Chris was one of the stars of Midlands

Hi Im about to restore my sisters ty80 and as i have never restored a bike before i am not quite sure about how to go about it. The bikes engine is in very good condition so there is no work needed to be done there. The frame is rusting in places and mising paint so i was wandering how i would go about geting the frame, tank and out side of the engine repainted? How do i prepare it for painting? And how much will it rougly cost to get it done? Any other tips and coments about what i should do would be much apreciated. Thanks
