Just wondering if anybody knows if you can adjust the rear brake pedal to bring it higher up so it is nearer your foot? I want to start using my rear brake while riding but its too low down and i have to concentrate harder to reach it than i do on where im riding. Thanks for your help.

Just wondering if anyone has had any problrms with dp clutch packs? I bought a new one from white bros darlington just before they shut down and when i have fitted the clutch i had an on going problem with clutch drag. The correct oil was used the clutch pack was to correct dimmensions however when bolted up into my clutch pack the fingers only raised to 15mm and they should be between 17-19mm ish. I took the whole lot to al the spanner formerly of white bros, he removed my brand new DP clutch pack and tried in a different make of clutch exact same pack thickness as my new DP one and the finger hieght went straight to 17.5mm ruleing out any other problems with my clutch s…

Boujour à tous. Sur ma 250 txt de 2004 j'ai vu qu'il n'y avait pas de ressorts mais un "plateau" ressort . Je trouve qu'il est un peu dur. Existe t'il un plateau moins coriace ?. Merci.

has any-one had any problems with the gearbox on the wee gasser. My wee fella dropped the bike at a trial and the chain came off and wrapped around front sprocket which in turn took a tooth of one the the gears. Anyway engine out split and checked the only obvious damage was said gear so replaced it and rebuild .....its now making a really bad noise . The bike before it was dropped was and had always been making a sqealling noise when running around this has now gone but has now been replaced with a noisey gearbox which is not going to be ridden its that bad. any ideas ???????????????

Hey guys it seems like a never ending journey to fix this leak. I removed the radiator and brought it to the shop. The guy at the shop recommended that I take off the fan so he could pressure test it. Can I just take the fan motor off with the 3 allen screws or do I need to take the entire thing off by drilling out the rivets and re riveting to reassemble?

I'm looking at a 1999 270 TXT to buy for a first (modern?) trials bike. It appears to be in good condition. Is there anything about this model I should look out for? Thnaks,

my mate has a 1999 tx249, it has had a front end impact. he needs fork stantions and a front wheel. where would be the best place to look for these parts? and how much are they likely to cost. he's not bothered if they are second hand. cheers Ben

Can anyone tell me what's the smallest size wheel I can put on a rookie 80 I've just bought a big wheel version as I couldn't find a small wheel after some time of looking for 1 as they are quite hard to find and it's to big for my boy ? Thanks

I recently bought a Gasser 125 Pro. I have replaced the piston, rings and little end as it was a little noisy. The starting remains poor. When it's cold, no problem at all, but when hot it can be a dog to start. Strangely, adding choke when hot cures the problem. I've tried adjusting the air screw, whch made no difference at all. I haven't stripped the carb yet, or changed the plug, but I do wonder if: 1. This is a common 125 problem, and 2. Whether a larger pilot jet will help to richen it a little on the bottom. Any thoughts, advise or comments on similar experience welcome! Thanks

Guy s just started rebuilding this bike 250cc Need a clutch casing are the pistons the same as any of the newer model? Seat unit as the Blue pad has gone mushy!! are rear guards available new? I am sure there will be more Thanks Marty

Still playing around with setting up my 03 250 Pro I'm curious to know what suspension settings people are useing.I about 11 stone/70kg with kit on have my rear shock set standard 140mm and been trying my front end at C 1 click R 2 click.After 10+ hrs of rideing I'm reckoning the springs have settled but still finding the bike hard work to move around hopping etc,maybe I just need to work on my s**t technique before I think about changeing oil and lighter spring.I've frequently watched lighter riders than me like teenagers bounceing around with ease on similar bikes,I know technique plays a big part in moveing the bike but am interested in anybodies input all the same.

I finally found out why my 1992 Gas Gas GT25 Contact trials bike had no spark and this is what I did to fix it. First I bought a new spark plug and tested it, still no spark. I unhooked the kill switch thinking it may be shorted out somewhere, nope still no spark. I took the coil off and tested it with a Multimeter and the coil tested ok but the spark plug boot was all over the place on the multimeter so I replaced the boot with a new one. Still no spark at plug, but I'm getting hopeful. I had help from this web site and my earlier post from Lineaway, Lemur and Tr1al who told me to go to thehellteam.com. Hi! I'm new to the sport and recently bought a GG txt pro. I would like to connect the speedometer but can't find any connections under the tank. I might be a bit stupid but it seems that some cables are missing. Regards Henrik from Sweden

Bearing in mind the age of the bike, is it feasible that the rear spring could be clapped out? I can't get the sag right(too much) and I have used up all the adjustment. I have had the bike nearly a year and don't ride it hard, I've only just started red route. I have no idea how it has been treated by previous owners, but the general state of the bike wouldn't lead me to think it has had a lot of abuse. The main reason I am concerend is that the front end tends to lose grip and push out on tight turns, which could apparently be caused by a soft rear shock (as well as my crap technique).
