Has anyone here bought Hebo baggy trousers and how do they compare to the usual lycra trousers ?. I cannot find any reviews on these trousers and my old Hebo lycra ones are just about worn out. I am 70 years old and not a sprightly rock hopper. Thanks for any info good or bad.

I've been wearing Gearne Balance Oiled Boot and have had a couple of crashed that have crushed my foot. The crash that started my foot pain ended with my toes to the dirt and heel to the sky and the bike falling on my heel and crushing my foot into the ground. I'm pretty sure I broke a bone or two in that incident. The other two were simple crush injuries with my foot laying along the ground and bike falling on the side of my foot. Do the Tech T's or any other Trials boot provide any more forefoot protection the Balance? I can't find anyone within a reasonable drive that stock them in Ohio. Thanks, Mark

Hi all, I fitted a brand new apico lanyard switch to my mates bike this week and it has failed (stuck closed circuit) within the first ride today. After removing the switch from the bars to check the connections underneath it started working again... Has anyone known an issue like this before? Is it possible that the part from eBay is a fake? Any pointers greatly appreciated!

I've had a pair of SIDIs around six months, seriously impressed with their comfort but after only about four months the sole of both boots started separating from the front and one section broke away completely. Sent them back to Feridax who said that it was crash damage (can't remember the exact wording but words to that effect) and didn't constitute a warranty claim but they agreed to resole them for a fee and send them back. Ive used them about four times since their return and the EXACT same thing has started to happen on both boots again. Has anyone had similar experiences. Trials boots should be more robust than this, surely?!

I'm not really into the look of the trials jerseys on offer, the MX selection is much wider. MX jerseys seem to be cheaper as well. Without wanting to come over all fashion conscious (which I certainly am not), is there a difference between MX and Trials Jerseys? Is it just the fit? Cheers,

so, after a long stretch, I'm getting a TY together for next spring. I have never had proper gear. Always a cobbled together bike, used helmets and second-hand MX boots. This time around, I have a little more $ to work with, a solid machine, and the time to haul it to more events. My first hitch, is what to do about boots. I have never seen a pair of trials-specific boots in any shop. What about them is better suited to the sport. Less armor, I'm guessing, softer? I've been looking at the Gaerne oiled boots, and wonder about the big gum soles. Are they rigid enough to keep the pegs from digging into your arch? are the tops soft? do they make shifting difficult?…

Just wondered if anyone has tried one of these and what they thought.... In principle the idea seems great but none of the major manufacturers have gone this way. Cheers

I should get a drink out of all this Wulfsport love. Finally bought a proper trials top and pants rather than use my enduro gear. Pants are excellent with padded knees, shins and side of legs where i always get a bruise....from where i dont know. I'm 32/33" and medium fits well. Thought I'd feel a prat in these tight fitting pants but they are a real help when riding with no baggyness and a better fit for trials boots....and shows off my bootie to its best! Top is on the tight side for my camel front but good on length, collar feature is cool too. Total cost was 60 quid delivered found on fleabay deals. Nice build n finish too.....only problem is I look the part, now …

I stand on the peg about an inch away from the motor so the outside of the peg is close to the middle of my foot. I cannot say that it is very confortable, does anybody have the same problem and as anybody found a good solution. I had the same problem with my Sidi '' Joel Robert '' in the 70's and with all the boots including the Forma Boulder that I wear today. Guy

Met a USAF forces guy, Sean from Ohio, this week whom works at the local airbase. I meet a few US forces guys through my job, always really friendly and interesting, great customers & a pleasure to deal with. I used to visit the US in my old job and owning lots of yank cars seems to break the ice quickly for both of us. Sean has a Montesa 4RT & a Honda TLR twinshock, been riding over 20 years and competes as an A Class rider, so I'm guessing he's a far better rider than me & better qualified to comment on trials He was all over my SWM TL320 (and gixsers) like a rash and we spoke twinshock trials and old bikes for a while over a cup of tea. He rode the…
