Does anyone know if the 349 Cota has spacers between seat tank and exhaust.my bike the seatgets so hot lying on exhaust that it cannot be ridden.we received the bike as a basket case .thanks for any help anyone can give

Does anyone have any good tips or experience of removing or getting rid of some pretty deep rock marks out of 315r frames. Before starting I want to consider best ways of removing them. The same goes for marks on the fork sleeves, what is the best way, could I recoat them? - any good tips would be much appreciated Thanks Pep

Sorry if this has been covered before I had a look around on the site but could not find anything, I just bought my first trials bike a 03' 315r' It has a lighting kit on it and I want to take it all off, can I just strip all of that stuff off and unplug it or is there something else I need to do, any advice would be great.

anyone know if a twin stage throttle body from 250 4rt will work on newer 260 bike? if it will which maps are you all using? i currently have the Laia Sanz map and like the way it makes bike run and seems to give loads of time in sections but would like to try different map

Hello everyone, I've got a vm26 mikuni fitted to my cota 247. Got a bit of time this coming week just to sort out a few minor things on my bike. One thing I want to check is what the main and pilot jet sizes are in the carb. Could anyone recommend what sizes would work best? Cheers Dan.

I'm a newbie trials rider and I'm trying to set up my springs - it looks like standard setup is 1/3rd of suspension travel; interesting how bikes of all disciplines tend to use this number. The question is, what is the suspension travel of the Montesa? I read 185mm somewhere for the front, but I haven't been able to find anything showing the rear travel spec. And - as far as the front - is that fork travel, or suspension travel? Anyone have these numbers handy? Thanks, Sam

Hello. I recently bought a 2000 cota 315r. The bike currently has a stock reed block installed with some sort of carbon fiber reeds. Looking closely I see that 2 of the 4 petals have a short nylon tensioner, and the other 2 petals have a longer tensioner. By "tensioner" I mean a small flat nylon rectangle which is about the same thickness and width as the reed petal, and is about 5mm-10mm tall. It installs between the petal and the reed stop. The bike also came with a Delta VForce-2 reed valve still in the box. Previous owner never got around to installing it. So my question is: since I've got the bike apart at the moment, should I go ahead and install the Delta …
