For your type of riding I'd stick with an enduro, NOT a Trials bike, but if you can afford both, make sure you use a trials bike for what it's made for, then a 250 or a 280 Pro is the best. Gassers are by far the best,-------------- Test one first, both are different. Try a Pampera?

Does it run OK with the Standard Carb? If 'yes' put it back on til the other problem is sorted off the bike then try again.

After many years of trials riding on all makes, GASSERS are by far the best, Yes, the 250 would be my chioce, I agree with all the other replies, put the gg in 4th and it will go anywhere, low revs using the torque-------full hole slipping the clutch fligging the country side everywhere, they are fantastic. You must run them in, keep the air filter dry + clean, make sure there are no water droplets in the bowl of the carb (they will run lumpy at tickover otherwise) and make sure the FUEL screw is set correctly, 3 1/2 turns out. Was it a good trial? I used to ride these group trials upto 2 years ago but found they got borring, ie same ground,same sections etc etc etc. Find it more fun teaching my 2 lads, might return one day............

Is it worth taxing? are you going to ride road trials? don't 4get the mot when its 3 years old!
