Sorry folkes, you should be able to read the results now.

Since the UK master won his first championship, whether it be world or british, what ever mount he has been riding it sets the trend for most to follow. Beta had thier run in the late 90's and then Montesa for quite a few years and know Beta are back, maybe the latest product is a little, well ?????????????????????
Its great for the factories to have a top rider riding thier product, but just think how it would be if say Xispa, Scorpa and even the reborn Ossa have the same chance, these machines are more than capable in the right hands and it might set yet another new trend!!

One thing to look at is the engine seals, as its a 97 these may have perrished burning gearbox oil when warm and revved hard. Check your levels.

From what I've been told, the 2 stroke will have the sherco engine and the 4 stroke will keep the WR Yamaha unit and look to be in 2010???????????????????
It may well be just to keep use on our toes ................who knows!!

Has anyone got any info on the new Scorpa range?
-
Mixture screw needs to be 3 - 3 1/4 turns out, may vary slightly, so trial and era!
-
Try 3 to 3 and a 1/4 turns out, standard on GasGas carbs as its a fuel screw not an air screw.............has always worked for me!

Godzilla, Q; Using puncture kit glue, I would of thought leaving the glue to dry prior to fixing would be very difficult to fit as the dry glue would stop the grip from sliding on ?
Or have I read it wrong ?
-
Any one got any good methods on how to fix new grips to the bars and throttle?
I've used hairspray,matt black paint, clear laquer,neat petrol.....................anymore ideas????????????????

What more can I say ................do they want to sell or think they can get

Well, a good Question, as everyone has their own preferences. Over the years I have found 8psi in the front and 2-4psi in the rear (2psi in mud/roots etc and 4psi on rocks)
If you have a Michelin front, it will last for ages. The best rear is no doult an IRC which will get better as it wears, as goes for when to change its upto you , as a guide, if the centre knobbly looses its pattern then think of changing it or turn it as you will definatly get more use from it.
Hope this will help,

I've just set mine up and it was a different bike, hope this helps. Have you taken the carb off and cleaned the bowl? then..............
1. air/fuel screw 3 1/2 turns out with a nice tick over,
2. make sure the choke lever has 15mm of free play so when on full lock it stays OFF!!!
3. on the side of the carb you have the pump, make sure there is NO free play, this works as soon as you twist the throttle and eliminates stalling and intant reponse...................................................hopefully
4. once you have refitted the tank push the throttle cable cluster up so it runs in line with no dips.
This is what I did and it worked
Keep us posted

If you look at the overall picture, whatever you do financially, the world is in a right mess. But on the other hand if you want a new car its the time to buy according to the papers. for example, a new 08 Vectra SRI diesel for

Just seen the price of a new 4rt.......................................

Mixed thoughts and pressures here, I've always used 8 psi in the front ( any lower and I feel the front tends to tuck under) and 2-4 psi in the rear, again it all depends on how the grip level feels. Tubeless tyres can run this low, well I've always done it this way.
Enjoy......

Here is another option, Castrol TTS at 60:1.
Its fully synthetic and I've had no probs.
Enjoy!!!

Does anyone know whats happened to the 4 stroke Gasser????????????????
Anyone!!
-
Check the gear box oil,(500ml) because the seal goes and lets oil into the engine, hence the smoky exhaust. Ours has gone.
