Does anyone know the difference between an 02/03, ie; frame colour,frame/chassis no id?

I'm thinking of buying a an SY, can anyone give me the '+' and '-'s of owning,riding and maintaining one, power delivery, handling, grip etc I have had Gassers(7no) and a mont in the past.

It looks like a JCM to me, try to check out the engine casing name.....................................does it say JCM or HIRO?

None of what you have, to me is up for the job. I would get a KTM 525 EXC, as an ex trials rider I have a KTM, which as long as the gearing is correct you can have loads of fun Green Laning and Trialing.

Ours kept buning the plug out, I tried another carb and it was fine, a definate mixture problem, it wouldn't adjust, whatever. In the end I bought a new carb.............Problem solved

After riding the last section, Fug rode around the stage and as he turned to ride up the ramp onto the stage his front wheel fell off and he had a scary moment, his face was a picture, but as the crowd cheered.........not a smile or anything. He just carried on off the ramp, turned and rode back up it . I would of bin in a big heap, bright red !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did any one else see the 'dipstick' with BLUE trainers and wearing shorts following a rider in the mid forty's??? riding a Sherco....................... Wot a 'tinhat' He got stuck going to section 10 plus and and burn't his leg on the exhaust.. Wot about Health and Safety for ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from southern spain on an enduro w/end in the mountains...........FANTASTIC Loads of mountains, gullies,forest tracks,rocks,river beds etc if you are an all rounder with trials experience you would love it. 400cc bikes,7 hrs per day and 150km.

Lets face it lads, Should'nt you spend at least 2 hours after every ride maintianing ANY trials bike if you love 'em enough. Enjoy both, riding and fettling.

Anyone know the results of todays trial, A and B routes?

In my eyes and experience it's got to between 2 bikes, GasGas 250 and 4rt. All depends on the riders ability and mount choice. 2 or 3rd gear and let the bike work for you on the throttle.............feel is the key.(Steady lads)

2006 Gas Gas 125 std, is the best, read the reviews in T&MX, say no more. Don't need to change carb.

GAS GAS ALLDAY LONG WITH THE WIND BEHIND YOU. HAD 7 SINCE 93, NO PROBS.

Does the motor sound ok? no noisy bearings etc? I would drop/change the oil asap, see if there is any water in it. If so, run it again, ride a trial then when cleaning check the oil viewer before, sometimes water gets in via the breather pipe. See what happens.

Trials bikes are TOYS,(as are 99% Of bikes) so the NEC is an ideal place to show them off to the road users and I forgot M X ers! More sales!!!!!!!

Went to the NEC sunday, couldn't get my head around the fact there was M X ers galor, KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kwak etc on show and just ONE trials bike on the motul stand, a 300 gasser, oh and a 125 scorpa. Come on this is a National show, why not trials bikes? Went to the dirt bike show last year and I was ready to come home after 20 mins? Shirty had the best stand, Not ALL the importers were there!!!!!!!!!! It was also like a Car Boot sale........... A waste of time !! Come on lets see 06 have a good turn out at the NEC.
