    Help

I don't think they have a website. The entries for two day don't come out untill about March I think. Look here for contact details for the club.
  3. Here you go Fintry results. Hope it's better reading for you than how I found it. Had to get my boots re-soled after that trial.
  4. This should help you, loads of usefull stuff on here. Clicky . The sherco set-up and lubrication guide gives you step by step instructions on how to change the oil.
  5. The first round of the Scottish youth/over 40's championship at Milnathort has been cancelled due to the land being waterlogged. The club had a phone call from the landowner today to say because of the snow earlier in the week now melted the land is sodden. So unfortunately the club has no choice but to cancel. The club trial scheduled for Saturday 3rd is also cancelled.
  6. I thought the same pretty good show the trials area was attracting quite a few spectators. The riders did well it was looking pretty slippy in there. I saw Steve Colley had both his arms in slings when I went round to see his 3 o'clock show. Don't know what happened but hope it's not too serious. Picture of Gary Mac getting the TC sign dirty.
  7. Just to let you know anyone who is intending going to the Lanarkshire fun club trial tomorrow the 11th that it's cancelled due to snow.
  8. Here is a few photos from Russell's camera. Jonny Walker section 5 Jamie Reid section 2 Mike McNiven section 3 Scott Taylor section 3 Allan MacDonald section 3
  9. It was a great trial as usuall Littlestar well done to you guys for getting it spot on. I thought the A route rode a bit tougher than previous years some of those rocks were so slippy. The new section 8 was a bit of a challenge as well didn't get anywhere near to cleaning it. It was good to see a new Beta four stroke in the flesh, first one in Scotland maybe. It was looking and sounding sweet, Davey had a few nice rides on it. I heard it didn't finish though don't know why. I took a couple of photos but dumped my camera off to Russell half way round and forgot to get it back. When I get it back I will post the pics if they are any good.
  10. I think the trial Littlestar is reffering to is the Perth trial at Highlandman Loan near Crieff. Pretty gutted that two clubs 45mins away from each other run a trial on the same day. I always fancied going to the Perth trial on the 2nd but with my club (Dunfermline) running a trial on the same day I always go there.

    Adding Coolant

The best thing I have found to fill the rad is a 60ml syringe. There is a guy who sells them on ebay for about
  12. I have posted the full results on my club website Boofont. http://www.dunfermlinemcc.co.uk/dunfermlinmcc%20results.html Can't seem to add a link so copy and paste the above. Changed over to IE7 don't know if thats got anything to do with it.
  13. I'm using Motul stuff at the moment. It is Transoil 2 stroke gearbox oil sae 10w30. I had a quick glance on ebay but didn't see it on there. This is it here
  14. Was a good trial today. Sections were pretty much spot on. I thought the group of sections where Garry Coward was observing were quite tough. They must be new can't remember riding those before. Stayed back near the end to catch the results. But they are very provisional, the cards still have to be checked. Adult 1st: Dunfermline A 40marks 2nd: Lanarkshire Adult 54marks 3rd: Bon Accord 1 57marks Over 40's 1st: Lochaber 32marks 2nd: Dunfermline A 53marks 3rd: Inverness 62marks Youth: Lanarkshire B 87marks Skye TC 92marks Thanks to the Perth club for putting on a great trial. BTW the pies were great Andy!
  15. Not sure if the Perth guys are laying on pies for us, hopefully they will be. Can't beat a hot pie after a long day on the bike Weather is supposed to be good on Sunday could that swing your decision?
  16. Yeah that will be me. I spoke to you before the start at Alvie last weekend See you on Sunday.
  17. A montesa rear wheel fits a sherco no problem. Firstly the mont wheel must be 2001 or newer, I think that was the year the rear caliper was inside the swing arm. You need to use the sherco spacer on the sprocket side and a montesa spacer on the disc side. The mont hub must be slightly wider than the sherco hub. I know what you mean about the sherco wheel, the rim tape can be a real pain at times. With the mont wheel you don't need to worry about leaky spokes. This has been tried and tested on my 04 sherco. I borrowed a mont wheel a couple of years ago to use as a spare at the Scottish. I think the mont wheel was a 2002. There was a guy using a 4rt rear wheel in his gas gas at the trial last weekend as well. Not sure of the spacers he used tho. Hope this helps.
  18. Hi Boofont The trial on Sunday is on the A822 Gilmerton to Dunkeld road. The trial start is about a mile from Gilmerton. So if you are coming down the A9 take the turn off for Inver caravan park which is just south of the hermitage and continue on the A822. See map below, I have marked it roughly where the start will be.
