there a picture of the 2013 Scorpa on the planet trials website. The new Scorpas are good, solid motor and quality form and fit. I rode a 2011 half a season and my best finish was 5th, switched to a 250 gas gas pro and finished 3rd first time out and even won my class. Gas Gas suits be best the sherco is similar, Beta and Scorpa are different. Too each his own!

After viewing the recently posted video of the Zaragoza indoor trials, Toni is wearing a different verison of the Alpinestars trial boots. The back of the boot has a longer flex panel then the present boot. Is Alpinestar releasing a new improved trials boot?

I do agree the X Lite is a better tire, it does seem to me, the Montesa guys are on something special. This is why I asked the question. Is it a proto type or a one off? Or just an X Lite with a Michelin logo painted side wall.

It would not surprise me if they were done, in 2012 they changed the frame color. It doesn't seem like they are putting make development into the bike. With no sponsored riders and a limited following I don't see much change for Scorpa. I hope I'm wrong on this but it's just my opinion. Maybe they will focus on the T ride and other types of hybrids.

I disagree with the reliabiability arguement and agree with the a new 60kg limit. Titanium and carbon fiber prices are much lower than they were 10 years ago and increasing the use of these items will continue to reduce costs. Development and technology is being compromised with the current ruling. World round riders will demand and bike builders will develop lighter bikes that will hold up to the stress of the highest level of competition. If you are worried about cost vs. techno I'm sure Gas Gas will always offer the 'Eco' .
