  2. Hello all I'm after some advice please. I have a bsa b40 with a wd engine. She's been sitting for a while and the carb has all disintegrated. Could anyone tell me what AMAL carb it has fitted please so I can try and source another. From what I can see it's a 626 L but all the one's on the net seem to be L and three numbers.

You can try turning the mixture screw out about 1/2 turn at a time to see if it helps the burble. I bought a 2017 Factory a couple of yeas ago that ran that way until I turned it out some. I eventually put the remote mixture adjuster on it so I could keep it tweaked in for the weather. Then the bike was smooth and linear all the way up.

  4. Afternoon all wonder if you can give me some advice. I have a 2019 2t 300 Factory running boyson carbon reeds and a bosi system but I'm finding to really soft off the bottom like it has a delay before the power comes in. Any ideas would be grateful.

  6. Hello All wonder if you can help me. I have sherpa 325 and wonder if you can get a modified top yoke where the handle bars brackets are more forward instead of the standard ones where the bar brackets lean back? I hope this make sense.

    Here's a few easy upgrades that would improve an already very good bike for the better. (Just my opinion).

    1. Fit a proper alloy front mudguard stay.  BOSI anyone ?

    2. Replace the stupid petrol filler cap.  CSP anyone ?

    3. Rear mudguard re design. One piece set up costly to replace. Make it a 2 piece item.

    4. Swingarm / sidestand set up not the best.  A new look set up would freshen the model up considerably & a comparatively straightforward bolt on. (Gas Gas use it to good effect !!)

    5. A decent set of footpegs as standard.

    6. Frame protectors to be a standard fit. Beta do quite nice ones on their Enduro models, so why not on their trlals models . OEM Stickers don't do much a job as frame protectors, & aftermarket covers look a bit "aftermarket".   

    7. Stickers are an integral part of the annual revamp. Always rather a lot of them, which soon start to look tired. Sometimes less is more.

     

    I suppose the Tech Forks &  Ohlins / Reiger shock upgrade would be starting to push the boundaries a little.   

    There you have it. That's the 2025 model sorted.

    FWIW I 've owned at least 10 Betas in various guises. I know how to look after them. I have never once been let down. Ever.     

      

    I totally agree with your upgrade but they have done nothing not even tried to stop the airbox always filling up with everything. All the other manufacturers have up'd there game and specs to leave the Evo behind which is a shame. You ride a 2018 or 2021 you can't tell the difference.

    Oh OK thanks that's why I can't find a button. My old 2015 factory had one that's why I asked. So they are meant to be on permanently?

  10. Evening all. I'm just trying to sort out my aluminium sherpa fuel tank and wonder where I can get some decals for it. I see inmotion do sticker but they won't be any good because after its painted I'd like to lacquer over the decal. so can anyone help?

    Double check the fuel cap is venting or just remove it and make sure fuel is entering the bowl and clean the carb. If it still acts the same, get a new jet tower o ring and remove the jet tower and clean out the passages at the same time.

    Thank for the reply lineaway. OK when you say a jet tower O ring I've just look on splat shop and can't seem to find one? I thought I'd change it anyway. Many thanks

  12. Hi all. I went out on my factory 300 Sunday was going like a dream after 3/4 hours of riding it started to hunt and knock and wouldn't idle. It's like it was running out of fuel. I carbs is all clean and it has load a fuel do the stuffer with fuel tap problems?
