  1. No, just turn it out another half a turn from where it is now to stop it from pinking, clean the carb out fisrt though incase there is any dirt in there, make sure you blow the jets out....
  2. Gareth, Its not an air screw on a Dellorto, its a fuel screw, turn it out to give it more fuel, turn it in the give it less fuel.... Kev
  3. Guess what..... Just had a delivery from S3 today and there is an "A" 200cc piston in there... If you want either the barrel, or piston, or both, give us a call on 01298 766813 option 1 for spares and speak with Corin.... Kev
  4. Are you sure its the barrel you need ???? We (GGUK) have a barrel in stock for a 200cc yr 2000, BUT we dont have the pistons, and it looks like S3 will not be making them anymore.!
  5. So it should have a Dellorto carb, the needle should be a D36 with clip in the next to bottom groove, so 3rd one down from the top...!
  6. If its a Dellorto carb then unscrew the fuel screw half a turn and try that. If it has had a Keihin carb fitted then turn the air screw in a quarter of a turn and try that, sounds to me like its just "Pinking"....
  7. If you have the type with the bolt directly in from the centre at the back then that bolt isn't long enough, just fit a slightly longer bolt (with a tad of loctite) and that will stop the top nut then headstock coming loose.!
  8. Cubby... My lad got off a big wheel Beta 80 onto a 125 2013 Gasser 1 year ago and he was 13, he was actually a tiny bit big for the 80... Now he's 14 and a year on Ive just got him a 2015 125 gasser and he loves it, so his 13 is for sale soon...! Parts for the Gassers are still ok from 2011 onwards... Kev.
  9. Change the complete carb for one off another bike that runs ok (250/280/300 should be ok) and see if that sorts it.. this will eliminate the carb.... thats where I would start.... Ive had the same thing before and I cleaned the carb numerous times and tried differant float settings and still couldn't find anything wrong with it, fitted a new one and it sorted it...
  10. Its the annual Manchester 17's "Hipwell Trial" on Sunday 14th September, start time is 10.30am and its a road based trial of approximatly 5 mile lap of 20 sections ridden twice. Post code for the start area is SK17 8ES. Enteries are taken on the morning up to 30 mins before start time, with a catering van in attendance. There will be 2 routes, clubmen and expert on every section, and it will also cater for the very popular 50/50 route riders. The sections will mainly consist of grippy gritstone streams in and around the Peak District. See you there, Kev and Andy Hipwell.
  11.
