July 26, 201610 yr My '17 has a pinch bolt. I didn't think much about it, as this is my first modern trials bike and my '16 KTM and '15 Husky use a similar pinch bolt. I think it will work well.

If you have the type with the bolt directly in from the centre at the back then that bolt isn't long enough, just fit a slightly longer bolt (with a tad of loctite) and that will stop the top nut then headstock coming loose.!
August 9, 201610 yr The 17 does have a pinch bolt. similar clamps to 11 and 12 Raga and 14/15 Racing. The older clamps as Kev has said needs a longer bolt.
