  1. If you don't want to pay the price for the Michelin go straight to IRC don't waste your time with dunlop. The pro's run them because they are sponsored not because they are the best tire out there.
  2. Why not just make one six day event in the midwest.
  3. So you don't think they are professional? Maybe they are called pros because they are the best in the U.S. Maybe they are called pros for the professional way they conduct themselves. Maybe they are called pros because one or maybe two of them make a side living from riding pro. I don't know for sure, but by all means if it bothers you please tell us what you want them to be called.
  4. The primary motivation for this series (and we are hopeful for other similar regional series) is to provide funds for our U.S. Trials des Nations effort. A portion of the proceeds of at least $5 per rider will be donated to the U.S. TDN team Are you offering any support are to the clubs who will be setting the events and contributing the $5 to the TDN?
  5. If the motiviation is money for TDN why not get a few corporate sponsors. What support are you offering the clubs for setting up the regionals? What about those who aren't AMA? Terry
  6. I'm not sure of the format. Check that link out or go into Lane's world and you can find out. I don't think Nick was an invited rider like Geoff Aaron or Knight or John Dowd though.
  7. Full face helmet for trials? Promoters of Xgames are pushing for full face helmets for bike stunt and street freestyle or whatever they call it. They interviewed one of the riders with no front teeth and a huge scar on his chin and he is now sporting a full face unit. My .02.
  8. I don't know about a two day. When we have events that far south we generally only have 6-8 riders show up. We have had the majority of our events in Marion, IL at Little Egypt off road club. They hold vintage events, national hare scrambles and so on. It is a great place to ride. Our website is www.mita-trials.com. Terry
  9. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9...89567&hl=en This is in Lane's World posted by City Trials.
  10. Hensley, the MITA has had two events in Belle, Mo this year. I know you and your boys have been there before. How far are you from there and from Park Hills, Mo. We'd love to have you guys anytime. Terry
  11. With Nick putting together a spectacular showing at the endurocross does this open the door to another version of trials racing? I am betting next year there will be a few more trials bikes at the endurocross.
  12. The event organizers do not want it in the US this year. You can make up your own reason why. It's either money or they just don't want to come, too far, not enough amenities. TTC put on an awesome event this year too bad it won't be back next year, but maybe next time. Maybe it would help if the US had contenders. Just my .02.
  13. ClarkP will everyone in the afternoonl ride the same loop and sections? Cost to ride and camp? What is the time limit for the three loops? How many mile loop? I am really wanting to ride this. I checked your website and didn't see too much info on this event. Terry
  14. Yes Clark the Scottish format is what I was thinking about in my first post. That sounds like an awesome time.
  15. A clean loop, doesn't seem they were challenged enough. How could you not keep track of your time when that's half your score? How was the turnout at Octobertest? Post up the results already, geeeeeesh that was two days ago! Did riders leave one minute apart? Were there splits or, can someone just tell me how the loop and sections were setup. Where can I find the AMA/NATC Format for this type of race?
  16. Are there any events in the U.S. that hosts an event with the format of Loop time and section score? Is anyone interested in riding a format like that. Seems fun to me. Setting up 2.9 for speed on the loop and riding sections along the way. www.mita-trials.com is discussing holding an event similiar to this in the midwest. We have events at this location throughout the year and it also hosts a national harescramble. Any thoughts on who else does this type of an event and how it was received. Terry
  17. Can any guess who the Pro class will consist of for 07 and what bike they will be riding for 2007. Will there be a Pro on a RYP sponsored Scorpa? Anyone else moving around?
  18. What did you pay last year?
  19. Awesome!. Front page, results, photos, that's what we want.
  20. Speaking of the Champ wasn't there a Nat'l in RI this past weekend? I must be overlooking the posted results somewhere! Where are they?
  21. I asked the same questions in a thread a month or so after the world round. No one came forward with numbers then. Maybe they didn't have them yet-I doubt that. We could speculate the turn out sucked and TTC said screw this for next year and FIM just picked Guatemala. Check the thread already started under No 2007 World Round. Check it out.
  22. Don't quite understand the logic when you take into account location, ammenities, cost, and number of potential spectators. Why do you think TTC did all the improvements without having mulit year options. Is it simply not worth it? Maybe Dan can add some perspective from his end and Andy can you add some insight on why Guatemala. Terry
  23. No one knows why its being held in Guatemala?
  24. So you'd rather be in Guatemala than New Zeland? Come on live a little explore a different continent. I'm just torked because no world round in 07. Out of curiousity does anyone know the bike sale numbers in Guatemala vs the U.S.? What is the reason ($$) for a world round there?
