Hi,
These kits are 68-69 mm bore. You can even go to 70mm with the original sleeve.

Hi,
I know 2 solutions that were used : the firt one is to bend the sammy miller kit to letf enought place for the break pedal and the second one is to add a spacer between the sammy miller kit and the frame, in this case you need a longer swingarm axle.

Hi,
On a mini Majesty witch was the former J Shirt bike you can find such a mod on the wheel hub. Some guys in France are doing like this because it looks "older".

Hi,
The mini Majesty is a very nice toy. All of my TYs friends would like to have one when they compare to the standard bike.

Hi,
My bike was fitted with a modified headstock. At the begining the fork was a 348 montesa and I modifed it for the mono front end. Now this bike belong to a friend of mine and he has decided to go back with an original headstock and fork.
I think you can use the monofork front end direct in a TY headstock, if you find the good timken stuff.

Hi,
I rode my Majesty 250 with the big flyweel : the motor is very to slow to take RMP but you can't stop it. I think the explanation about using the clutch or not , is linked with the big weight or not. But I think that a normal weight is better for a 250.
About the 250 mono fork that was fitted on my bike : it works perfect, more efficient than the 250 t/s one.

Hi,
Does any body knows how many Majesty first generation were made (the modified yamaha frame) ?
I think they were quickly replace by the godden ones.

Hi,
The 125/175/200 version is a totely new frame, just like the godden later for the 250/320.

Hi,
I am shure that the mods are to put the engine up in the frame doing what had been describe by WOODY since I asked Mick of what had been done and then two of my friends had done this job. You cannot se the difference, just the french frame number on their frame.

Hi,
And if you are able to weld, theses modifications are not to difficults : two of my friends buid a copy of my majesty firt generation frame.

Hi,
So shall we drop the 320 Majesty and 340 bultaco to jump to 200cc Majesty or Whithawk ?

Hi,
Maybe the best solution is 200cc convertion + boost bottle ? Just like the Whitehawk on ebay these days !
Some of my friend have "hand made" boost bottle and think it is better for lower to medium rpm. If I have time I will try du build an engine with 203cc + boost bottle + boysen reed for 2007.

Hi,
Are you shure of the 498 ? Usually this type of TY250 in the UK are 493. Please recheck also the first digit of the second part, since I did not see any TY in the 8xxxxxx serie.
If we assume the "8" are "3", it says the bike is a ty250 twinshock post 1977.
