Hello jj65,
I had to check my back sprocket to see it was 41 the front is 9 as you suggest
it pulls 3rd for hill climbs and muddy slots all day set up like this 1st is perfect
for most sections 2nd if a bit more speed is needed.
Not sure about speed on the road because its not road registered
but getting it right for the sections would take priority any way,
good luck and one thing I am sure is you will always be riding with a smile

Hello Barfy,
I am hoping to drop my engine off with somebody for this work to be done, if you want to wait
to see how it turns out, I am pretty confident this guy knows his stuff,

Hello Denis
Take a look at the Peak Classic Web site http://peakclassic.co.uk
Look at the bottom category club championship work your way down to over 60 championship
it will give you an idea of the guys age who are still riding over 60.
It cheers me up because I will be moving into that championship in 18 months!!

Hello macdee,
Welcome to the Seeley owners club
Honda part number for the swinging arm bushes 52147-028-300 its not easy getting the old ones out
you may need to series drill out the rubber to release the inner bush and then use a hacksaw blade to cut through the outer casing to
release the tension this will allow you to pull it out easily. Most engineering shops can produce a spindle in stainless with an 8mm
internal thread to allow you retain it in place. ps I have posted a link to e bay on the other Seeley threads re an exhaust.

Hello Barfy,
Only just come across this post but you could add me to the list if it's work in progress.
This is when a 3d printer would come in really handy.

Hello zisko62,
Thanks for the picture of the exhaust not a lot of Seeley Owners will have seen one, that is the most original looking Seeley I have seen
since 1981. Their are some very good examples of machines that have been minted, but I still love the way bike looked when it first rolled out of Colin Seeleys work shops.

Hello Neil,

Hello Bigfoot I think you have done well to capture the atmosphere and a good selection of sections, riders and bikes.
I will be able to look back fondly on a great week end. Cheers

Hello Metisse,
I have thought about doing some of the' foriegn' trial's and have only recently become aware of the Ventoux Classic.
Not familier with what the section layouts and severity would be but I have heard rumors so I think that would rule out the Twinshock 'Hard' route for me.
Any way good luck with the team recruitment,
Regards

Hi there
You might want to try this. a little trick I learnt while having time out playing golf.( don't laugh some good came from it)While waiting for a grip to be replaced on a club the assistant wrapped double sided masking tape (sticky on both sides) about 25mm wide around the shaft, the length the grip would cover. removing the the top to reveal the sticky surface as he went, takes a bit of practice. now the magic bit. pour a small amount of petrol in to the grip and slosh it about. As mentioned else where no second chances, must commit to get it on all the way first time. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS YOU WON'T HAVE ANY WAR WOUNDS TO SHOW OFF IN THE PUB AFTER THE TRIAL WHERE THE WIRED GRIPS RUB YOUR THUMBS TO THE BONE.
