  1. You can if you have the software and cable
  2. Ive heard guys that did the ssdt were using a lot of oil in the 300rr. I have a 2015 repsol with the 280 kit fitted and its just as lively as a 300rr
  3. yes there is certainly a difference. I find it has more low end torque and pulls well. if you have a ptb you can program the maps to whatever suits your riding. its as reliable as it was before
  4. Great bash plate and dead easy to fit. the pic on the H&D website is the one fitted to my bike a suggestion though, use some hard rubber or an old inner tube between the case and the bolts on the left side of the bash plate. if you hit something hard it pushes the bolt in to the flywheel casing and will need to be replaced or fixed if it happens. I used a folded up old inner tub and silicone it in place to fill the gap between the bolt and the casing
  5. its as simple as it looks. Unbolt the side casing. remove the standard plates and replace with he dimpled ones. I found it easier with the bike laid on its side, that way you don't have to drain the oil if you have already done it recently
  6. ooo sounds good. I will drop you my email address if you don't mind I will give that a go. Cheers
  7. Cheers I have both single and dual map versions and the cable just converting in now

  12. I use a cr5 in my 2015 and never have an issue. I think i have a spare if you want to try one and are local to blackburn
  13. seems a fair few montesa's are being stolen around the area. I better get mine in the house and secured even more
  14. Whereabouts are you dave? I will pass the VIN on to some friends that break bikes
  15. Dont worry im not rushing in to it. Its a lot of cash if theres not much difference. Ive fitted stiffer fork springs with 5wt oil. Fitted a trp rear shock with the right weight spring. Im running the mild and wild maps. I hate revving any bike to death to make it move hence the 4 stroke. I mainly use 1st and 2nd gears odd time 3rd on steep hills. I may just need to learn to be more agressive with the bike. Im finding it may need a bit more low down power to shift my backside. I have lost 1.5st since new year to improve this though. No offence taken ha ha ha I have a few vids if i figure how to post them on here.
  16. The dirty south!! No i ride in the north and weigh 16st
  17. I currently own a 260 repsol 4rt with plenty of upgrades. Twin map throttle body, bigger radiator, termigoni system etc . . . I'm toying with the idea of sticking a big bore kit on it, has anyone gone from having a 260 to a 280? did you notice any difference?
  18. Have you got any pics of the bikes johnny. I will let a few friends know that buy bikes to break to keep an eye out
  19. Hi guys, Has anyone fitted a TRP rear shock to a 4rt? What are the base settings for the shock? Any recommended settings?
  20. My Repsol 4rt. Has a few more bits being added this week. (TRP Rear shock, chain and different gearing sprockets)
  21. I have the mitani full protection one from Mark @ H & D and it fits really well
  22. Ive been accumulating maps from all over. Im fitting a big bore and termi system so might even tweak a map i have acquired
  23. Its a serial connection. You need a pc or laptop with a serial port or get a usb to serial convertor. Yes my tb is a twin map. I bought the latest software from them 2 weeks ago
  24. Google "future trials". Its an italian company but you can change the website to english
  25. Future trials parts sell these but they are expensive. The software was £40 posted and the cable was about £300. The map throttle body is about £400. Im having a play with maps at the moment
