  1. Yes doogle but don't forget the broken rear brake caliper

bracket i welded and straightened out the rear disc that was

buckled and bled the brakes stripped out the rear caliper.

Now that was what i call mates rates!

  2. That will be something to look forward to ,i would not

be surprised to see if it had a suzuki derived motor

as they have ties with not only KTM but suzuki for a

    number of years.

  3. Having spent some time on the 07 bike i can say that the extra steering

lock you have got is actually a disadvantage as a few of us riding the bike comented

it locks round so far it locks in on itself and will tip it in!

There is only so much effective steering lock you can use before it has a

    negative effect .

  4. Yes a good upgrade to do on the monts is to fit honda cr 250 clutch

plates friction one's that is, this stops the clutch dragging and it then

will go into neutral nicely. also check's to do are inspect the dog bone

shaped rear suspension linkage as these have a tendancy to oval

the holes this in turn stops the seals from doing there job, and

hey presto your suspension seizes up!By the way HAVEN TRIALSPORT

sell the clutch parts. also the air holes in the rear mudguard helps

from the holes having mesh fitting to them from the inside, this will

stop all the mud from packing down the air holes and blocking them.

  5. What it is, is the throttle body has two sets of program's in it

and by the flick of a switch on the bars you can go from one

to the other this in turn changes the fueling etc and

changes the type of power the engine put's out ie softer for the mud

and grip and then more responsive and sharper for in the dry.

  6. This sort of carry on by importers is totally iresponsible

to all of a suddenly flood the market with cheap bikes in

the term of things is not doing any of us favours, albeit people selling

second hand bikes or dealers with them sitting in their showroom.

This happens also with the gas gas's.Car importers do just the opposite to keep up

the second hand prises and new.

  7. Yes this does happen on the 4rt's i have repaired them beforee.

What you have done is broken the end off the selector shaft, it

is not as bad as it sounds ! Parts are about thirty five pounds

if i remember and about an hour and a half's job.

  8. Yes the trialscast levers that i bought for my 06 beta were as said

could be happier with the fit where the bushes go, to big holes in

them causing sloppy fit, and of rough bare cast finish, but suppose cost

reflects on this somewhat. They work fine as advertised and do bend

as opposed to just snapping off! Not a slag off just my thoughts.

  9. there is a bigger steering lock now becuase the clamps just bash into the frame. i think it might be a bit sharper weight wise not much dif

I think how they have obtained the extra steering lock is crock!

Just removed the lock stop bolts so the bottom yoke hits

the frame it has still got the tapped holes in the frame so they

are obviously still using the same previously made castings .

I could have done that in five seconds.

  10. Having ridden an 06 and a 07 bike to ride back to back there is no noticable

difference in the feel of them they are the same width across the frame

and even sitting on them there does not feel any different i'm

surprised i thought they would have felt a lot smaller.

What are anyone else's veiws on this having ridden them?

  11. im not a big fan of the trialcast stuff for some reason, cosmetically i mean.

Yes i bought some levers off them for my 06 beta they were of quite poor

finish and no bushes supplied with them. fitted some new bushes in them

which were loose , holes were to big in the levers and caused them

to be very sloppy and rattle about.

  12. Just wondering what the new 270's are like power wise some years they seem to be softer than

others one year seeming very fiery and another more tourque'y what are the 06&07 like?

  13. Saw poor old doogle today out on his new bike at the trial and you have guesed it problem

number five bike starts to overheat and the thermostat switch has now gone on it had to bypass the switch to finish the trial. Not bad for a four hour old bike poor sod!

  14. Sounds silly but check the simple things first .

change the plug and disconnect the kill switch these can give these

symptoms believe it or not. i doubt it will be the stator these tend to either work or not.

Then the coil sounds electrical though!
