South West Trials Shops
I'm in North Dorset. Have been to BVM - great shop - nice chaps. Bit of a step from me though. I also have Sammy Miller's place, similar distance but in the opposite direction! Cheers - matt.

South West Trials Shops
Can anyone out there recommend any trials shops down here in the South West? Want to take my lad shopping to spend his birthday money. Cheers - Matt.

Montesa Or Scorpa?
Think the Scorpa is a great looking bike. My only concern is parts availability for the Scorpa, as opposed to the Mont which are everywhere. Has getting Scorpa parts been a problem for anyone out there? The other issue is RESALE VALUE. Is it me, or do Montesa's seem to hold there value better? Cheers - Matt.

Van Choices
Nice one Cubby. Must say that the Vito would be my weapon of choice as well... BUT the missus drives around in a LandCruiser, so to have two LARGE vehicles in the drive isn't terribly economical. Think for the moment I'll just get a towbar whacked on the back of the car and get a two bike trailer. Unless I win the lottery at the weekend... Cheers - Matt.

Van Choices
I'm also looking for a new set of wheels... whilst I would like a Vito or a Transporter, it's not going to happen this time.... I also have the added dilema of having to use my van to transport my family around in, as well as bikes - so need at least 3 seats (bench seat or extra row behind). And just to add to the problem the vehicle needs to be SUPER economical!!! Any suggestions as to what to look at would be fantastic... thanks. To kick things off I have been thinking of a Reanult Kangoo. Cheers - Matt.

B B C "kick Start" Footage
That was bloody brilliant!!! Took me right back to sitting infront of the tele eating my tea! And why did we all love to watch it sooo much - because of the big spills, beautifully demonstrated by Mark Hicken! Had to watch that bit a couple of times!!! Love it - thanks for the link. Cheers - Matt.

Trials Obstacles
Crikey!!! Looks like the Pikey's have moved in!!! That looks like a load of fun! Thanks for the suggestions guys. Will ask around a couple of farmer freinds for some old tractor tyres. Might need to get a digger in to make some holes and hills too. Ohhh the wife's going to be soooooooo pleased! She's already said NO to us dragging an old car into the field! Cheers - Matt.

Trials Obstacles
I've decided to build my lad an obstacle course in our back field for him to practise on his Gas Gas Boy. I've managed to pick up 20 odd pallets and a cable drum so far and going to go to work on them this weekend with a hammer and a saw... Would REALLY appreciate some suggestions for other obstacles to use or build into our course. Thanks - Matt.

Can't Get My Boy Going...
Hoorahhh! Got it going! Left it over night - turned the fuel to off - and then gave it 5 or 6 good kicks with the trottle fully open. Then turned the pertol on, and got kicking again - and hey presto! Managed to put a hole throught the bottom of my shoe in the proceeds - ahh well! Thanks for the pointer chaps. Cheers - Boner.

Can't Get My Boy Going...
Hi, just brought my lad a TXT50 today - and I'm well chuffed with it. BUT, I can't get the blooming thing going!!! Had a chat with the previous owner earlier, and he said he had it up and running a day or two ago. Followed everything by the book: choke up, fuel on, gears in neutral... and started kicking. But nothing. Pretty sure the carb's flooded now - do I need to kick it over with the throttle open to flush it through? Will check the spark plug tomorrow - any other suggestions gratefully receicved. Cheers - Boner.

Where To Try Trialing
Guys, does anyone know where I could try trials riding in the South West? I'd just like to give it a go for the day - a sort of beginners day course. I'm in Shaftesbury Dorset, and ideally would like to do something local(ish). Cheers - Matt.

Hi From Me...
Hi, my names Matt. Went to my first meeting yestersay - with the Blackmore Vale TC. I was well impressed! Seemed like a very nice bunch of people - and the sport in general looks great fun! I have ridden trail/supermoto bikes for a number of years, and my 5 year old son is beginning to get into bikes - and I would like to get into a sport that we can both enjoy together. So I'm thinking that trial riding might be the way forward... Cheers - Matt.
