  9. sorry to here your problems i to am amazed to here about lampkins they are usualy on the ball with there stuff this might sound stupid but is there anyone in your local club where you ride that will let you try the cdi off there bike just to be sure that it is the cdi but if all esle fails as lampkin to send you a wiring diagram for the rev 3 and the techno and then you can trace the wires to use the techno one good luck hope you get sorted

  10. good luck with the gasser hope your good with spanners and good luck with spares my lad had a 03 gasser and i rang shirty,s for some spares and they told me they had no spares i wanted but only 05 models onwards me personally you could,nt give me a gasser , build quality is c*ap stick with the beta

  11. this might be different from yours but my lads gasser did a simaler thing a few weeks ago the revs all over the place and a knocking noise from the top end but only after a while tryed alsorts then someone said at a trial have i checked the water strange i thought but when i did check sure enough it was low so i toped it up and the difference was unberleavable it was back to normal as i say this may not be like yours but worth a look good luck

  12. well i agree with you it makes you wonder sometimes why we bother at all with the acu other clubs do quite well without them and after all we are keeping the fat cats at rugby in a job with all are revenue after all when was the last time there was a big claim from trials or out going towards trials ive said i9t before one half doesnt know what the other half is doing they need to be more intouch with people like yourselfs who have brought these riders on in the sport its discraceful what they have done to your events i wouldnt be surprised if there is someone involved in the other events who is high up in the t&e commitie this should upset the acu camp GOOD !!!!!

  13. what a shame this man has had a massive influence on alot of riders with his on the edge in control style of riding when he was in the indoor scene he was the one who started doing the big jumps and tricks that others wouldnt do what a rider and always a nice bloke to talk to always had time for you hope he doesnt give up altogether a sad day good luck in whatever he does

  14. Hi To you All

I have a cota200 and am in need of splitting the gearbox due to very leaky gasket. Not very mechanically minded but if i do this are the shafts and gears going to fall out or are they on circlips or similar.

Thanks in advance for any help

    grahamcota

you can do this job yourself but it might give you some stress if you have no mechanical knowledge as thing will drop apart if you know anyone around your way who can fix bikes your best bet is to ask them and pay them to do it and cut your losses there is a chap around my way thats good with montesa,s but i live in the north west so it might be to far away for you good luck
