  1. Hello! Try the "Beta Clutch Fix" ! Perhaps you have clutch drag and thats why you have problems to get it in the neutral when the motor is running.
  2. Put a time limit but let it be different in each section. The time allowed could be the time it takes to walk the section from start to end but let the sectionbuilder decide. The allowed time should be on a sign at the start.
  3. Try using the first gear and you will get used to it! A friend changed from a Sherco to Beta 300 and complained at the same thing. Told him to try using the first gear in tight sections, and now he almost rides in first almost everywhere except bigger steps. It´s just in your head as you are not used to the slightly higher revs in your ears.
  4. Does anyone know where sections will be located ? Wanted to book a hotel and do not want to end up being too far away.
  5. Had the same problem with my 2011 when it was new. Tried the "Beta Clutch Fix" and it was better but not good. Called the dealer and he sent me new steel-plates. I didn´t think it would help but I changed them anyway. After the change the problem was gone! Take your plates and put them on a mirror or a glass to see if they are flat!
  6. 30 pilot and 150 main if i remember. Mixture screw 1.5 - 2 turns out.
  7. Why not try the Sherco original steel from older bikes? Much better quality than Beta original and a reasonable price.
  8. perhaps if you are loocking at it and turn it to the left as long as it goes it will be off. ( If there is a stop!?) 90

    Pinging Beta

Had the same problem on my 02 rev3. The pinging were worst when i rode on the transports without load or after a hillclimb when i got off the throttle. Tried everything and the best result was with bigger pilot jet. If this will not help all the way, take the barrel off without removing the head ( to avoid changing the head gasket ) (possible if you remove the radiator etc) and check if there is carbon on the piston and in the exhaustchannel. This can be so hot it will make your engine work like a dieselengine.( it is a good idea to change the rings when you are doing this ) Good Luck ! Sorry for the bad english
