  1. This is what I was looking for, thanks for sharing your experience. I am going to get a new cable on there and I'll be sure to wrap it up. Cheers!!
  2. I do know the stuff. Are you saying this because you’ve also had this issue?
  3. Yeah I guess I'll have to resolve it by looking at more pictures and figuring out why it's lacking that slack in it. Thanks for your input, much appreciated!
  4. Hmm, it's definitely routed on the right. It is attached with a cable separation clip to the clutch hydraulic line and both run along the right hand side of the tank. Sorry for the pictures not being clear, bike is tucked into a shed with six other bikes and kind of hard to get to at the moment!
  5. Here are the pictures. When I bought this bike used it had this same issue so I replaced the cable and now it has happened again a year later. I tried my best to follow the routing as per the manual, too. Anybody seen anything like it?
  6. Super excited to watch him ride in the coming years. Love that there is another Monty rider that's not on a Repsol, can't help but have love for the RRs.
  7. Thanks! I did look at it when installing so I cannot figure out why if routed correctly it has done this again. Failed to get a pic last night, will have to upload one tonight to show you all what is going on. I'm thinking now the housing is clocked incorrectly or something, not really sure. I'll be back with that pic!
  8. Plan on posting a photo to show what's going on when I have one, but for now wanted to get this post up. Have a 2017 300RR and when I purchased the throttle cable sheath was broken near the top where it meets the housing on the bars, and the angle of it was sharp as though it was bent. I replaced it, but now 1.5 years later this one is doing the same. I have looked at pictures of routing the cables and I'm not entirely sure mine is correct, but I have seen more than one routing where one goes behind the bars and beside the tank, and another picture of the routing in front of the bars. I just want to stop this happening again, so if anybody has heard of this issue or has an idea why it's happening I'd love to hear it. I'll get that photo ASAP.
  9. Thanks again Faussy. Sure wish I could find some feed for the Trial Indoor International that's going on right now... Toby Martyn was amazing in the clips I've seen! Bou has got a real tough fight to stay on top this year. Cheers!
  10. Definitely good to know, thanks! Here's hoping I can get all this worked out before the first event so I don't have to find out the results before I've seen it! Cheers.
  11. I always carry a hydration pack, I have the Klim NacSack I think it's called. I always have a small set of tools in there, a saw, some first aid supplies, a snack, keys, phone, wallet stuff, and a few other bits. Can be heavy but I can always take it off during a section. For the most part this pack is well balanced on my back so I don't really notice it there. It also has room for a fuel bottle should I decide to carry extra fuel.
  12. Faussy thanks so much for your detailed answer. Getting answers online or anywhere else has been resulting in dead ends and dumb responses for the most part. I really appreciate this. Navigating the world of watching live/nearly live trials events seems akin to pulling teeth which seems a bit ridiculous given the connected world we are in today. Feels like I'm back in early 00s internet era attempting to figure this out. Going to see about signing up on X-trial now... Cheers! Edit to add: I also signed up for Club Jitsie for the live stuff. I have to say I'm disappointed in almost every aspect of the membership, the tutorials are also not very good. Oh well live and learn I guess.
  13. I didn't know until today, so thanks for sharing this!
  14. I catch up on X-trial on youtube usually months after the events air. I signed up for Club Jitsie thinking it had access to live events but it appears that it does not. Where are you all getting your feeds from in North America (I'm in Canada specifically)? I'd like to be able to watch as close to live as possible (live being difficult if events take place during the middle of our nighttimes!). X-Trial, Trial International, and others? Thanks!
  15. Oh isn't that just the way...glad it worked out for you!
