how much is the clutch kit???
-
On a similar sort of thing. My 07 175 which has the AJP hyd clutch on it seems to be adjusting it's self during trials, at the start of the trial it is fine but towards the end of the trial the biting point seems to have moved, even with the lever fully in against my knuckles the bike still seems to be pulling away. The lever adjuster is nearly all the way in. anyone got any thoughts??? I have just bled it, which was a complete nightmare but not tried it yet, could air have been the problem???

hello there,
I was just wondering how you get upgraded from novice to inter? I had a look in the hand book and the way I read it, it says either you or your club need to write to the acu and request an upgrade. Is this right, or is it decided from results or somethin????
-
Had to vanish as soon as I finished so only got a brief look at the board.. Forgot to add my e-mail Would anyone be able to forward the e-mail to me???? would be very grateful...
-
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any results yet??????
Good day out as always.... Big thanks to organisers, observers, and everyone else involved
Apparently the town name is partially offensive
-
the thing is I have only been riding here for about six months and don't know how to approach or identify anywhere to ride... I have asked a few people at the three cllubs I ride and they all say there is no where.... surely there has to be somewhere and someone who will let me use their land

Hello there folks,
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me,
I live in gainsborough and work in lincoln, my current job is quite slack and therefore gives me plenty of spare time normally finish around 3:30 and 1:00 on fridays, with all this time on my hands all I want to do is go ride my bike somewhere, there is one place which is about an hour and a half-two hours away and costs

Hi
Sorry to hear you are not having much luck...
Rather than waiting for people to come to you why dont you go to them????
Have a look on the ACU web site and find the centre/clubs that operate in your area and go along and watch a trial, there you will get a feel for the sport and you will be able to have a chat with riders and maybe have a go on someones bike...
you have to go and experience it first hand rather than just posting on the web and watching it on tv...
ACU web
Hope you reconsider......
P.S. The only indoor I know of in the uk is the sheffield indoor which was in late dec 2006

Hi
You could have a look at the trials trainig centre website, it gives you the basics on how to ride so you might get an idea.
Hope it helps
How to Ride linky winky

I use armed forces issue gortex they work really well wind, water and migie proof and there is a chance the observer wont see your foot go down it being camoflage but then again I am in raf and get them for free. but you can buy them from army navy stores

Hi,
My brother and I have just got back from ridng the loch lomond two day, him on SY 250 and me on the 160 4t and both of us have lost the breather pipe and valve from the petrol cap (he only got a new one on friday ) I saw a bloke at a trial in lincolnshire with a fuel cap with built in breather and I'm sure he said it was from some crosser! would it be the same as that on a yam YZF etc???? does anyone know of another way to stop the breather departing????
-
Hi there folks, I was just wondering what your thoughts were on the various trials tires available. Which gives the best grip, best value etc should I buy Michelin, Dunlop, IRC, and is vee rubber any good as it is cheap.
Cheers

Cheers

So would I be right in saying that as a novice I (Provided I get an entry which sounds like it could cost me vast quantities of beer ) could turn up and ride and enjoy the trial without crashing and ending up a mangled mess of man and machine??????
How does the entry system work?? is it ballot , first come first served????
-
Hi there I am returning to trials after a break and am a bit out of touch and I was just wondering how hard and what standard of rider you need to be to make a decent attempt at the lakes??????? What kind of trial would you compare it too???
