  1. Hi. I'm wanting to do some midweek practising through the day  but don't want to go on my own. Is anyone else interested in doing the same? We could use Bumpy nr Leeds or Hooton Lodge Rotherham way or maybe even Tong nr Bradford if there were a few of us.

    Let me know if interested

  2. Talking about Keihin only here from experience.  If the carb spring is biting into the top cap and you don't reassemble with the slide inline then some sideways force can be applied to the slide. It then tends to stick a bit to the body slowing the return to shut. Check cable also as if one strand is split it can catch and do similar things. Had two cables do this over 10 years of riding.

  3. I have a coolant issue that's making my brain hurt. When riding the valve on top of radiator bubbles a little yet the fan comes on and off as I think it should so no problem there. When cool the rad needs about 50ml of water to bring it back over the fins !!. Have just run it with the cap off and it boils up quite quickly, and boils over. I can only think that coolant is not being circulated hence a boil at some point in the system not in the rad.On the 2015 gasser the water pump is a sealed unit I think so how would I check this. I'm thinking that i should take the pipes off and kick the bike over. Any other ideas chaps?

  5. Try revving bike while pulling clutch in. Sometimes this will wind it back in.Otherwise it's clutch cover of and a long socket to tighten up.No other dissasembly needed. Put bike on its side for this.

  6. I think it'll be your head stock. Floating disc does move but does not feel too bad through handlebars.Put a finger over the headstock end and move bike. Can you feel movement while applying brakes? If so that's it.

  7. I prefer fast.Makes for easier riding. The bit to worry about is the left hand. Most riders are on the clutch in sections, never fully engaged for long. Try fast and work backwards its cheap enough to experiment. Take a slow with you and swap around on sections to see what you prefer.
