  1. ive managed to get the pedal unbolted etc but the thing wont come out of the frame, there isnt enough room to squeeze it between the frame and swing arm. next time i get some free time im just going to remove the swing arm and do the lot in one go
  2. just spent all afternoon on my rev3 270 after doing the clutch fix, no arm pump what so ever was much easier to ride definately recommend it. looking forward to the next trial now
  3. i must admit, i was thinking it would prob be easier to remove the lot lol. i remember it being a pain on the old scorpas tho so didnt bother. might have to relook at that tho cheers
  4. thanks for that, havent been able to get the bush/nut out as yet either, not all the way anyway. will give it another go later on, sure its just getting the angle right.
  5. no, there is not much space to do anything. how should it come out? (hope nothing is bent )
  6. how do you remove the brake pedal, doesnt seem to be anywhere near enough room to pull the pedal out the way. doh
  7. lol not just me then it does feel strange putting it on the inside, never come across that before. it is a bit daft keeping it that close to the peg brackets. im dreading the day it comes off and kinks up at the front, my old scorpa used to do it from time to time and that ended up pushing the chain guard off with a small part of the engine casing and there was much more room on that.
  8. cheers - tensioner was a little bit loose as well so ive taken everything off to clean and grease it then will try again.
  9. Hi, ive recently got a rev3 270, started cleaning it up a bit earlier this evening and decided to take the chain off. the clip to secure the link was on the inside of the chain (facing the wheel) and had some wear on it. The other side of the link also had some wear on the outside. when i looked it appears to be catching very slightly on the foot peg bracket. is this a common thing? is there a fix for this? if i put the link in from the wheel side and the clip on the outside of the chain (where i think it should be) im pretty sure it will catch on the foot peg bracket.
  10. hi - is this trial still on? a few local ones have been cancelled. do you have a postcode for it ?
  11. yeah i used to help george setup guis youth trials as my mam was youth secretary, i rekon he has missed it all these years good on him. ive been away from trials for just over 10 years and managed about 7 trials since june this year, i had no chance of a 2 day this year it would kill me lol, got to get back into it properly for next year but i love th long ride round at some places, definately cuts down on queing etc. i think my littlen will be coming to watch the conducted trial - hopefully get to have a sit on an osset so we can see which one will be best for him
  12. lol go for it mate, trial there in january isnt there? only trouble is the family were spectating, i was on my 2nd lap by the time they got to section 1 but i think they will be going for the kids trial after talking to George.

  14. lee sergeant has taken over his dads double glazing company after he died a few years ago i believe. was riding around pontypool in wales
  15. you must have been one of the few that got through it on less than a 3 i was riding in jeans and a tshirt.....was totally pitted lol
  16. was a good trial, and a good night wasnt keen on the first section being a total bog mind
  17. here goes for my first post lol what i did to start was put the front wheel near a wall, then you can use the wall to lean the wheel on, move the bike further away from the wall the better you get, eventually you wont need any help. another tip is to chalk a line on the floor and practicing hoping your front and back wheels seperatly from one side to the other, then bunny hoping the full bike in the same way. as said above, if you can do it with the engine off, its much easier when the engine is running
