  1. Great event. But in reality why would you ride this if you want to get into the top 5 in the world. 500 miles, 176 sections against 5 plus hours a day on bike quality sections pushing the limits. The top british riders ride it because they want to, and the other top riders have not been sitting doing nothing.

  2. Hi

All i am saying is the event has not been held, yet some are saying its non stop told you so its a great event.

I am not saying that its not, or its not going to be and appriciate the work that people have put in.

The number of entries have have no relevance to any thing

Good luck to all on the day

  3. Well done the Fim.

A new class has been added to the world championships. International open class, for riders over 16, they will ride the same line as junior.

This fills the gap between junior and pro level. So riders too old for junior, but not good enough for pro that want to ride at that level have a class.

  4. Hi

I think most riders require observers to be consistant in their decisions, It is hard not to be more leanient to someone old, young, knackered, bike running crap, struggling ect. Then mark the top guys like your life depends on it.

All OBSERVERS wherever you are we do love you and appretiate what you do for us.

  5. Hi

Make sure you have a quick action throttle, the 125s cant respond like the larger capacity. Phone the importer he should help you with all the settings, and any mods you require. The 125s are great machines but need a lot of rider effort but in the long run he will really learn how to get the most of the bike,

  6. Hi

Great tool, but it takes a long time to sharpen the edges, The tyre lookes messy as I dont mark it, just slice to sharpen the knobs. If you practice a lot its well worth the investment. Tyres are now quite expensive here,

So if you practice a few times a week well worth the effort, if you ride trials with little or no practice then a waste of time as one tyre lasts a long time.

  7. Hi

I have seen the 2011 Beta guard bend back towards the bars utill it was past straight up and return undamaged. My son eventualy snapped his which was replaced with a new one. Before I could get the old one plastic welded he also snapped the new one. (less than a week.) After welding he has only used one and have lasted well, except for snapping across the rear light. The black top team guards seam a lot more flexable.

  8. Hi Clive

We are all waiting for the event to be a definite, although some have allready booked (including us). The Kiwi callender has been set around the world round. Most of the trials Kiwis are planning the trip. 2x youth riders, 1x junior rider that being Jake Whittaker who you know will be going on to europe with the top trial team. WE now have a Jotagas importer so he should maybee have a rider there ?.

So well done the aussie's and the kiwi's will be there.

  9. Kia ora

Aussie is the place to be in May. Is it definite. We will be jumping the ditch to ride the youth line. The world round is great for us, not sure the europeans aggree, but it is the world champs, I am sure you will put on a great event. So g'day drongo and we will see you in Victoria.

  10. Hi

If you run a pipe from the fuel tap back into a fuel can then turn the tap on with the filler cap on this will see if your filler cap is faulty. It may take some time before the flow is effected. If the cap is a problem you will hear it suck air when you open the cap.

    Good luck Pete

  11. Hi

Sorry its a 2011 bike, last time the bolts were removed with a easy out. New bolts locktighted in. The importer is looking for stronger bolts but suggested asking on here. Our problem is its a small sport in NZ, so only 1 other rider on Beta will be riding as hard.

  12. Hi

Our 2012 125cc Beta rear disk has sheared the bolts that hold it to the hub. This is the second time its happened. 2 bolts snapped down in the hub?.Do other riders have this problem and is their a secret fix, or change bolts regularly. This bike is ridden most days, hard practice a lot on the rear wheel. This time the disk is bent so santa will bring a new one. :madnoel: Non stop would cure this :rotfl: .

Merry xmas to all from New Zealand.

  13. Hi

Dont a few of the better riders get together after a trial and ride some big rock or ride a impossible hill climb to see who can get the highest, lots of banter, shouting and good old friendly abuse. They do here. I just want to have fun, and see the top guys strut their stuff.

  14. Hi

My lads 2011 125 evo rear brake is locking on after a hard work out. leave it to cool and its fine. So after 30ish minuets rear wheel hopping and hard practice I am guessing the fluid is so hot it lockes the brake on. It has happened at 1 trial when he rode a lot of sections after each other trying to make up time. This is a new thing to happen, so something is not right. New seals in master cylinder????. Can anyone shed some light on this or had the same problem.

  15. Hi

For the riders who think no-stop will be easy or more manageable with increased rider participation at top level they are dreaming. We have seen Bou hop over the rocks with no motor running, most riders would not achive this with motor. Whatever the rules the top riders will be way ahead of the rest so I cant see a rule change bringing more riders to the top level.

  16. When I Looked at a Gas Gas I was given a price for a non homolu --- homolo--???homolugateated one. I asked what that is he told me it means ready for competition, but not for road, When the bikes arrived they had lights.

So I would also like to know what homi, homoli, holimo, that big word means.
