  1. Hi, I have always found Gasser 125's to be really good bike's, I had an 08 Racing for a couple of years & was excellent, Rode really nice, It did have a good amount of pulling power, It pulled really well when you give it stick, My mate had an 09 as well which felt just as good, if not better. Have Heard many good things about Evo 125's as well, Might be worth considering. I have a 290 Evo which is awesome. Having watched some young lads on 125's, What some of them can get them to do is amazing, On some hills when I struggle on my 290 (my own fault usually) lads on 125's can just fly up them no problem!

    Showa shock

Or the Ohlins shock I highly reccomend, The one on my evo is fantastic. & a fair bit cheaper than the Showa is.

    Showa shock

Looks good, Go for it if you really want it.

    Showa shock

Raga could well be using one, I think there strongest point is for massive drop off's, Probably why a lot of the top riders use them. Bosi sell them at 800 euros which is about 673 pounds, Which seems pretty dam expensive for a shocker.

    Showa shock

Not 100% sure on the showa's myself but on my 2010 evo I am using an Ohlins which is very good. I know as you say TTT are using them & Dibs has always used Showa's on his bikes, I think standard Monts also use them as well, See if you can get a go on someone's Mont, it will probably give you an idea if you like it.
  6. Out of all the Beta's I know, & have heard of, None of them apart from Doug's bike has had ignition problems & the coil failing, Lampkin's Beta had a complete different ignition system & John Lampkin said that the coils very rarely fail.
  7. I was only having a laugh about the power of the bike, Chill out man, I know for one thing when I watched him at Sheffield, He looked way more comfortuble on the Beta, I agree with you on Toni Bou though, He just has the secret of how to ride that bike wrapped round his little finger right from day 1, But I still think Dibs would be doing better if he hadn't of lost Jack Lee as a minder.
  8. 3200 sounds like a fair price, But I think with some pursuasion to the owner you should be able to get it for £3000 or £2900 if your lucky, Nice bike though, Enjoy if you get it, There an awesome machine!
  9. I only mentioned about the bike because someone would probably say 'If he was on a Gasser he would be doing better' He needs to adapt to having more power & being on a proper bike!!
  10. Dabill has failed to qualify in all indoor events be a few points at each round at most, at Geneva he failed to qualify by 1 point only, Dibs' trouble is that he needs to relax & really focus more & he knows himself this is his main object, There is absolutly nothing wrong with the bike, He has said in a few Interview's that the bike is excellent & the team are excellent, I think he needs Jack Lee back more than anything!
  11. When Bou get's beat, He is having a really bad day, Like I said he is in a class of his own, I agree the other top 4/5 are very very good riders, But not in the same league as Bou is. Cabestany is very good in the indoors & is consistant, But he will have to ride very well to beat Bou
  12. No one will ever catch up to Bou, The guy is in such a different league to everyone else!
  13. I think that makes more sence!
  14. Good point, I completly understand what you're saying, I did like the 125 GG a lot But no where near as much as the Beta, Trust me I will never slag off Beta For me they are the ulitimate trials bike, & if & when it does go wrong, Lampkin's are great, They will help us out with anything. But Not saying GasGas wouldn't of done. At the end of the day why should I say good stuff about somewhere I've had a bad experience with? I mean if you had to pay £140 for a radiator & the bike was about a week over from it's warrenty Would you honestly be happy? I know it sounds like I'm going on about it, But it's just stuff like that is really annoying. I Understand not everyone has had a bad experience with GG UK, & Kev was really patient & helped us out with it. If people have helped me out I will have good stuff to say, But If not, Why should I say good things about them?
  15. Hi Kev, I should have rephrased it a lot better, I know you personnaly give me a lot of help & I did get the bike running better, But still not right, Anyway I found a topic on here with the same problem & he said it turned out to be the wrong thickness base gasket, When I bought that new radiator from you though because the one on mine was cracked on the filler neck, When I put it on the bike & let it run for a bit, There started to be oil coming out of the bottom of the cylinder? Possibly because more pressure could have built up which caused it but spill oil out of the of? I only just found out it could be the base gasket after I sold the bike, But I can't help thinking that the wrong base gasket was put on? The guy who had it after me put a raga inlet manifold on it & the High comp S3 Raga head, & I don't think he's had any problems with it. Anyway got a Beta now & love it, I didn't like the fact though that the bike was only ever so slightly over 6 months old, & GG UK wouldn't replace the radiator on a warrenty claim, So that was £140 gone, When John Lampkin still replace's Stators on 8 year old Rev3's, Some how on a 6 & a bit month old bike Didn't really seem fair? I'm not getting at you at all Kev, I just didn't like the fact the bike broke down every week & had to get towed back lol A while back I had a GasGas 125 Raga Rep, & it was great, never let me down, But changed to 300 & it was the worst bike I have ever owned, Broke down every single week, So basically you are saying, Even though I had a bad experience with a bike & I should still say good things about them, Fair enough I had 1 good GG, I have never slaged Ossa of, They're a great bike, Had a ride on one a bit a go & was really pleasent to ride, & I will never ever slag off Beta, In my opinion They're the best qualiy bike made, & best all round bike & absolutly love mine.
  16. That has helped me so much, Thank you very much for your reply. Edit: Can I ask who did your powder coating for you?
  17. Dibs will do well eventually, He has said himself in a few interviews that the bike is good, & he just needs to relax more. I wonder why Jack Lee was minding for Challoner?
  18. Hi, Cheers for your replies, If I did have it done I was planning on protecting all the areas that are most likely to get worn e.g side of the frame where your boots rub & some swingarm protectors as well, I have got some front & back mudguards in black & a new sticker set coming sometime soon, So will put them on & see how it looks, If it looks nice, I won't bother with the frame.
  19. Hi Guys, I'm looking to get the frame done on my evo in black, I have been told loads of different stories e.g.. 'anodising is better because it is etched into the metal rather than powder coating is a thin layer on top' etc.. I'm just wondering if some of you lads can help me out on this one, Which one is better & stronger for a frame to be done in black? Any replies would be really appreciated, Cheers, Ben.
  20. I hope Fajardo is ok after that horrible crash on the race, It sure Looked very painful, Nice to see him & the Ossa on the podium, I'm sure Ossa will be over the moon with that result! Big well done to Jack Challoner for getting through qualifying, Good ride Jack, Keep it up mate!
  21. Can't say I'm suprised to be honest. Had big problems with my 2009 300 pro & they offered me no help what so ever.
