  1. I was watching at section 15, Ron was fiving riders for going out of the line of the markers, not riding through other markers of seperate courses.

Ron had told all the riders where they could go, and where they could not go.

Ron 5'd Cabestany who was quite clearly out of the line. I watched Fugi ride through and he quite clearly went out of the line (for back up - see andy's video of fugi on section 15) and he was given a clean.

I dont mind any observer being keen, as long as evryone is treated the same, quite clearly as can be seen in the video's this did not happen.

I hope Adam Raga doesn't read these forums otherwise he will lodge an appeal.

    B):D:wall::thumbup:

  2. Lots of bits an pieces been said on different threads about this years trial whats your overall thoughts about it now the dust has settled.

I personally thought it was a great weekend. Mini masters trial very good made all the better by Amos and his antics. Sections on Sunday very good with severity about right (still amazed at what they do even after watching around 10 world rounds) viewing seemed better than last year (not sure why) deserving winner in Fuji seems like a genuine guy.

Shame Doug couldnt get his 100th GP win couldnt quite seem to put in that one amazing ride to get the crowd really behind him like last year (it was a hard act to follow).

  3. We need some rain leading up to the event for Dougs sake (remember last year on the Saturday walk round and Raga spitting his dummy big style :D ) still suppose it will be dry for him in the jury office when he hands in his protest at around 4.30 next Sunday.

  4. What year is it?

The older gassers mid to late 90's had a habit of breaking the selector pawl that sits behind the clutch basket if the gear lever had the slightest knock, this would then jam the bike in the gear it was in. Not sure if the modern ones are the same set up and if they still suffer. :D

  5. As said in an earlier post if you go to the tourist spots like the sphinx and Giza pyramids the sellers dont take no for an answer, they will put things in your bags on your head and tell you its a present but guess what? you try and walk away and they kick up a major fuss.

My mate has got the gift of the gab and thought he would start to barter with one before you know it he had about ten around him, we ended up near on running back to the coach to get away from them.(even the guards around the Pyramids are corrupt).

We went in September and nearly melted god help you this time of year, I recomend you take a good fan.

  6. Not a good result for Bou.I know its early days in the championship still, but it looks like its all working in Ragas favour, I suppose thats good in a way, what with the cut backs at Gas Gas, wouldnt want the Team wasting time putting Adams dummy back in would we. :P

  7. Hi,wondering if any-one can help.Ive got an early 1995 250 Gas Gas which has crankcase cooling,I seem to remember at the time the later models had it blanked off as they had trouble with bearings spinning in the casing.(I could be wrong)My bike has developed a water leak by the banjo bolt where it enters the casing as the casing has corroded away any-one any ideas if can be blanked off or if somthing needs doing in side of the engine as well.Or any ideas on repairing the casing? Many thanks :)

  8. I think from reading the interview with Amos in the double christmas issue of T-MX its going to be Amos as he mentions a much closer link with Doug this season, an he stated before he likes Team Lampkins way of working an drinking beer with Martin after events an hopefully theres gonna be a whole lot to celerbrate this season.(Title No. 8)

  9. We were unlucky and had to park in the bottom of the field so had no run up to get out,my lasting memory was sitting in the boot while being dragged out by a tractor after pushing my heart out to get near the gate. Remember the first section in Busters what a hill climb that was.

    ;)

  10. Taken in the famous Busters limeworks I reckon. If I remember rightly that was the year Saunders had an out of this world last lap to win the trial, an didnt it ever rain that day,it took hours to get all the cars out of the car-park most on the end of a piece of rope!

    ;)

  11. The little magnet isnt attached to the spokes on this model its screwed into the hub on the disc side of the rear wheel inside of the brake disc an its got around 8mm hex head and the reciver bolts onto the brake caliper bracket.

Your lucky the clock still works my hole unit gave up working atfter around 2 years.

    :D

  12. Twinnshock is right in what he is saying, but I believe that there are a cople of centres around the country one of them being the South West that all trials are open to centre grade an you then only need to join one club in the centre to ride any trials events in that centre.

  13. Rather than the usual which boots I thought I would ask which goggles?

I ride a few national trials a year on the road and also the odd long distance trial and have been using a cheap pair of goggles & the elastic is crap just wondered if any one had found and make, style better than any others. Also any advantage from having a face mask built in.
