Hey all, I have sent off my entry for the Brian Fowler trial at Hook woods (not had the comf back though). I started trials properly this year and have done about 8 club ones in the novices with a one win but mostly coming 4/5th. Will i be out of my depth over there? I figure "novice is novice" so i should be ok, plus really wanted to have a go at something a bit different and the fact that its a national should make it exciting to be involved in. I went over for a look on the SHerco open day and those big rocks looked terrifying ha ha!! But i walked what i thought to be the easy markers and it seemed ok. Love to here what you think, or to know if anyone is going as i may be on my todd. Campo

HI all, Mont not starting after running perfect since i bought it, my first port of call is to change the plug as it did start then died and hasn't gone since (3 attempts over 3 days). Im used to an old Bultaco where i can get in from theside, but the 315 is so compact i can't do that. Does the tank have to come off? and if so do i just make sure the fuel tap is shut and it will be ok?? HELP GOT A TRIAL ON SUNDAY!!

Is there a "big Bloke" setting on the suspension?

Hello again fellow Mont men, Not had my '99 315 to long but it sure has helped me on my learning curve of riding trials (i was on a '78 Bultaco 350 before!). I just wondered if there are any basic modifications or additions any one has made that improve the performance or asthetics of the bike Cheers Dan "feet up!"

Hi all, Has anyone replaced the white plastic sprocket guards with one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Montesa-315-4RT-...id=p3286.c0.m14 Mine look a bit tired and these would look great, just wondered if the lack of flexibility will be an issue, these will be super strong and shouldn't snap, but wondered if they need to be flexible??

Thanks for the link to the manual - does any one have one for 1999 315, althought i think they were the same up to 2001 so that would work.
