  2. I agree with Jimmy sounds like the last one - the 2004 - you lucky bugger mine is a '99 although i bloody love it and it goes great!!! here is a good link to all the models - people do mix up all the plastics and graphics though - forks are always a good guide, Showas after '00 i think http://www.x-trials.kr/maintenance/1009
  3. Aha, thanks for the info Mikee - I can't seem to get the "insert special item" > "post link" feature to work - maybe coz im on a mac. Try copying and pasting this, although clicking it works when i preview. http://www.trialendurodirect.com/products/...ength__313.html thanks again!
  4. i'm currently sprucing up my '99 315r and like the look of these fork guards - does anyone know the width of the Paioli Forks on the early models (38mm or 40mm) and if these will even fit?? Clicky I'm also gonna get teh footrests anodised red. Any one have any other ideas for some tasteful 315 'blinging"?? or any pics?? Tar! Lingo Edited to remove possible advertising
  5. Hey all thought i had it on my works computer but only have the '02 owners manual pdf. I'll check at home - but seem to remember just using the online version. Sandifords may be able to help you. Whilst we are on the subject... i'm currently sprucing up my '99 315r and like the look of these fork guards - does anyone know the width of the Paioli Forks on the early models (38mm or 40mm) and if these will even fit?? Clicky PS soon to be available will be frame protector vinyls (like on the 4RT's above the footpegs where your boots mark the frame) Tar! Lingo
  6. i have been there a few times, considering there is sod all else around our way in the form of practice areas i reckon its pretty good - i only ride sportsmans though. There are some decent size fallen trees to practice going over and some big bombholes with steep drops and climbs. Its a small area but its good to practice basics in - and there aint much else around, so it's a case of like or lump! merry chrimbo all!!
  7. Hi there - you can pay and practice at Four Marks just south of Alton, straight up the A32 from Fareham (past where a lot of Alton Club trials are) then left at the last round-a-bout (its quite a long way - when you pass a BMW bike dealer and Pub in Farringdon you are nearly there!!) onto the A31, on the other side of the dual carriageway (after a couplw of miles) you will see a railway bridge with a lane going under it, you need to go up there to the farm, i think it was
  8. Thanks for all the info chaps - not sure if i'll take the bike yet but will deffo have a look on foot Merry Christmas!
  9. What was the point of that post? why do you think it's rubbish that is where i ride most trials and think its great, massive climbs etc. Why would the Talmag be held there every year if its Rubbish? Are you after "hoppy" sites then?
  10. So did anyone do this? i thought it was a great little trial - really like going through the big stream on the way to the "back" sections - a coupel of those were mega slippy though. The bonus was that i won a toilet Duck and Can of Mr Sheen in the raffle ha ha!
  11. Hello all, does anyone know if there are any trials on over the xmas break in or nr the cotswolds? im staying in a cottage with a bunch of friends and would love to take my bike! Im there from 29th dec - 3rd Jan Ta Dan
  12. Hey all thought i'd stick a post on here advertising a trial in aid of a very good cause. The North Hants charity trial is on Sunday 14 December at Crondall Woods.
  13. I cant make it i'm afraid as i'm watching the mighty Shots hopefully stuff Wycombe Wanderers, which is a 3pm kick off so we meet in the pub at 2 don't think i can get there and get round and home in 1.5 hrs - shame as i would have really liked to ride. I will deffo come along to the next one if i'm free and am very interested in Joining. Thanks for all the info Mick. Dan PS there is a North Hants trial in Crondall woods on the 14th Dec which is in aid of a great charity Phyllis Tuckwell Hospital - why don't you have a go at that, please spread the word as its will be great to raise lots for them
  14. Hello to all who have posted in this thread - I'm deffo riding the 14th, what are everyone's names and bikes so i can say hello (i will forget your names almost instantly though so please don't be offended if i call you 'Mate' ha ha), with out sounding like a **** i want to make more mates in the club as don't know anyone really and if my old man doesn't ride i'm on my tod. Does anyone ever go for a pint afterwards? Also i have lost my sheet that says when the NHMCC AGM is is as i would like to attend as i would like to put myself forward to do us a website. Dan Campling
  15. Hi Peter - this is what i get Click Link to map when i put "Catteshall Lane, Godalming" into google maps - i imagine this will get you close enough, orange arrows should show the way. Could you confirm this please mick?? Dan
  16. I know it's brilliant - we have great crop coming through to tae over from Dougie and challenge the Spaniards - Bring on the Des Nations! Aargh, they really should allow motor sports in the olympics! Hang on a motor sport olympics, thats a great idea - watch this space ha ha!
  17. Yes i realise that (especially having seen the scores1), just got myself in out of my depth - all experience though. ALexz Wigg was class! It was a great trial. I have just been looking at the TVTC websites (witleys is very impressive - and i am a web designer by profession!) seem to be lots of good club trials think i will deffo join next year. Just so im clear is the Sportsmans route one down from Novice? I'll put some videos of teh Fowler on you tube tommorow!
  18. Cheers Mick, always up for doing any extra ones to the Alton and North hants i normally do. My Dad used to be in Witley club many moons ago i think - you may know him, most people round our way that have had bikes do!! - Dave Campling? The Normandy Trial on saturday says 'closed to club' on the website, does that mean i cant ride? I am a memmber of North Hants and Alton and in the ACU, plus if normandy put on a few trials over the year i may well look to join - if that helps!! Ta for all the info Dan Campling
  19. Hi Mick Thanks for asking, i didnt even start! i'm afraid i underestimated the term "national novice"!! reading more into the novice bit! I got sent to start at section 7 which was over some pretty big rocks straight away and that is just to far from my ability at the moment, didnt want to ding the bike or brake my leg! I did go and do 10 though and got through it with a good 3 (not a constant peddlar!) which i was pleased with. No rocks there! I have never ridden on them before being from the Surrey Hants border It was a great trial to watch though, i watched Alex Wigg (i think judging by the stickers on his bike and helmet - number 100 not in the program was he a late entry?) go up your section very impressivley and he did the almost impossible (to me!) on sections 7 & 8. I must say having spoken to lots of people there, most said that it was very hard and could have done with another route for "normal blues" and twin shocks leaving the other ones as "local Experts" and "experts" or something along those lines. I'll get there - gotta get better in the mud and rocks, i was doing great in the summer and even won (my class) one!
  20. Ah ha! - Im on the list, Number 42. Oh well here goes! - i reckon this will be a step up for me, i pray its dry! thanks for the post Beamish Owners Club. See you there sunday, i'll be on a Montesa looking worried
  21. So What was the Bagshot Heath one like then? - i missed it as i was away with the Mrs. Do you know what date the Dec one at Crondall is? It's the one in aid of Phyliss Tuckwell. Think i'm gonna stick a santa hat to my Helmet (fnar, fnar!) - because i am a real comedian!
  22. Hello all - has anyone got conformation of entry through for Sunday's Trial in Hook woods. I haven't heard either way.
  23. Yep - cheers Jamie i have been there, i went to the Sherco day the other week but didnt see the whole course so just wondered I have seen a few of those vids, some awesome jumps!
  24. Hello Nick Its Dan (Campling Jnr) - Has the old boy decided whether to look at your Fantic yet? All the best PS Sorry for going off topic everyone
  25. Hey Jamie, Thanks for that, i ride in Alton and North Hants club trials. I reckon i will be ok, it will be a step up, but thats what i want. Even if i come last i dont care (yeah right) it will just be great to get round, have had a good go and be part of national trial - i cant wait. Do you have any idea what sort of scores the winners of the novices get? Thanks for the reply, hopefully see you there - what bike will you be on? I'll be on a Mont 315 r with a plain red helmet Feet up! Campo (Dan Campling) PS are there any big climbs, there didnt seem to be - i love them! its cross-cambers i dont like!
