Hello again lads - do either of you guys knwo my Dad? Dave Campling he is good mates with lots of the guys you mention, he is 66 now and still riding, well riding again really since i started up. I still havent beaten him! He is riding a lovley TY175 which he restored. He did have a modern beta for a bit but it bit him a few times so went back to twinshocks! For what it's worth - i was at a trial on Sunday chatting to another Mont bloke whilst in a cue for a section. We were discussing teh issue of how expensive ELF is and clutch drag on teh 315's. He used ATF (automatic transmission fluid) and said it worked a treat.

I had a brilliant day yesterday - i would go as far as to say it was the best trial i have ridden in (only been at it a year) I don't quite know why i guess its a combination of,

I find putting it against a tree or wall helps!!

Hey all. My 99 mont has a polished magnesium crank case cover but all teh other ones i see seem to have a kind of bronzey coloured matt finish - any ideas why mine is different??

well bugger me, that's a handy feature of your web browser. A PC thing I guess, im on an apple mac and i dont think you can save web pages as pdfs. dont suppose you like to email me the pdf??

So how did you download the content of the website, as its HTML not a pdf - were you able to do it on one go?? I shoudl know this im a bloody web designer - not a developer though When i do it it just gives me the HTML file whicch i dont think will work if it cant find all teh links on teh web page - ie it will be useless if teh site goes down again
