  1. Alexz's injury does not require a brace. If things go better he will be operated on this week. Not too sure of the relevence of it to this thread by the way.

No one will think that its better than a sherco surely? There fore logic says it has to be cheaper (by some way) to tempt buyers?
  4. The s3 pipe needs to be the short one. The advantage of the kehin is in performance also but needs to be set up by someone who knows what they are doing. I always grind my dellorto spring which gives an easier pull, roll it around both ways on a grinding wheel a few times hey presto! learnt the trick from bing carbs way back when........
  5. Mate, the raga is a limited edition and me along with others haven't been able to get them in europe for a month at least.
  6. you can get montesas, no problem in europe. no supplier difficulties either except gas gas forks.

won't sell at 3440 if its no cheaper than a beta, isn't that about the same or has it gone up due to the euro?
  9. No 2t scorpas = no 2t engines. No engines means yamaha may not make any 2t unless the economics add up??
  10. Despite the lower scores in Italy the trial was still tough the marks spread out and I bet nearly every rider was much happier than France .
  11. The first point is more about our society then anything else. Just look at the tdf its paid for by local councils to come to their town the roads are closed etc. In the uk and ireland its rolling road blocks. However there is light at the end of the tunnel just look how the Bangor round went, supported locally. how long is it before Scarborough or skegness or cleethorpes realise the value of the influx of what a WTC could do and we are in buisness. The ssdt and reeth 3 day are miles away from any wtc and rightly so. this year will be my 4th reeth and it is perhaps my favourite trial of the year. Stop or no stop its first on my list. As for the wtc and france (as already stated) its section design thats more influencial than no stop, surely?
  12. They get along fine, as would Ian and I if he saw things the way I do.
  13. Was that as you drove by in the Audi? Anyway it was the biggest car there. Big car little di** as the saying goes. Now where did I put my cinquecento keys
  14. souded ok went well enough, cobos has a clip in kill button to prevent theft I believe. Biggest change I saw was the linkless rear end and paoli beta shock. Pretty sure its the Andorra bike with re welded swinging arm. Its gonna have to be cheap to sell in any quantity......
  15. This is the one aspect that I still can't get my head round. This friend perhaps failed to mention that Bou actually fived section 5 on a bit not far from thr green route, maybe 25% through the section, way before the 3 big steps. The "bigness" is not the problem (wasn't ness in France) but section design. If Bou can 5 where he did and browny get passed that point and clean the big stuff (he dabbed lap 1) it is section planning and careful examination that is the problem. I don't know what Dougie or any recent top riders are doing next year but he could do a good job of modifying or moderating the sections on the inspaction lap. Can't see it happening though. (I am not having a go at you heath just using this as an example)
  16. At my age and condition the more thats on the bike not me the better. Note to self : get tank bag
  17. So what were your views on the sections in France?
