Dave, I hope you don't take this the wrong way. If your really concerned about how competitive your bike is and how you would place in a certain class, ITSA may not be for you. ITSA is a bunch of riders that want to do nothing but have a good time. Trust me, my big fat ___ on a stock poor little TL 125 ISN'T competitive. For me that's part of the personal challenge and the fun of it. Part of the problem with the modern events is that they take it all so seriously in some classes. ITSA=FUN.

The "Ghost Hunters" show is a little different than all the rest. They do their best to disprove any strange things. What they are left with makes a person wonder. I was watching "Ghost Hunters" last night. Pretty compelling stuff. How can one believe in Angels and not at least believe there is a dark side too? On the other hand, how can you believe in Ghosts and not believe in Angels or God?

I've been very impressed that we could have a civil conversation about politics when it's so easy to get heated. Thanks to all of you for that. Being a straight white male conservative Christian seems to be a rarity today and we are the first usually be "attacked" for our beliefs. HAM 2, what exactly is the "Redneck American Mentality"? I must have missed that class in school, or maybe it was because it was in 7th grade and none of us make it past 5th grade? I had to quit school to go shoot large animals and make moonshine out at the cabin. I had to make enough money to fix my 1974 4x4 F-150 and have a bunch of kids with my first cousin. ITSA too hard? (hmm that reads like an Italian - American said it). Any hoo, I think Bob G sets most of these up and I haven't seen them be too hard, technically challenging, yes, but not dangerous. Put someone like Fracy on a Fantic and he has to have SOME sort of challenge though.

I think a lot of the problem is the media. You don't get the whole story. For instance, the republicans tried to stop the sub prime loans that have caused the problems we are having but the democrats have had the majority in congress for over 2 years now and fought against stopping the loans, so folks got loans that they couldn't afford. What do we hear from the media? " The Failed Policies of the Bush Administration". I know if people here can't get unbiased information than folks around the world can't. I'd just like the truth from the media.They seem to slant everything to fit their agenda. It shouldn't be one big editorial.

Zippy, I agree with most of that, and I think most people do too. I'd like to see a poll as to how many didn't care for either candidate. I guess at this point all we can do is see how it turns out. I'm guessing it will get worse before it gets better. I also think ANYTHING that goes wrong will be blamed on the previous administration. I know there are a LOT of UK people on here. How's your health care? We here stories about how great it is and we hear stories of people dieing because that can't get into see a doctor. I've also heard about stacking up ambulances with folks in them.
