  1. I cant find results anywhere either, it,s a pity as its usually a real good trial, a small suggestion to wetherby club would be to either get a website sorted out or tie in with one of the other clubs to put up results, I am pretty sure we would post them on our site (west leeds) and suspect yours would too telecat as you seem to work with wetherby club quite a bit (yeadon and guiseley).

  2. Just to add two pennarth to the discussion, a very good rider on the national scene (novogar round winner) has gone from 270 to 250 this year and he says it is a better bike for him, if its good enough at that level its good enough for most of us, unless you are doing the euro or world rounds this year.

  3. I assume your looking for an address with a view to trying to get flights etc for a trip out there, if you have any success can you post any info on forum, I have not been to a world round anywhere but hawkstone and fancy the idea of a trip to czech round, Cheers :hyper:

  4. I would like to ride the jeffries, I went to watch it in my teens, watching the likes of rob shepherd on the honda was an experience that remains with me and is refreshed whenever I hear anything about the jeffries but unfortunately as an average clubman ( and well into my midlife crisis ) with one course it is just too difficult. p.s. have done the manx two day, east yorks two day, ilkley grand national all of which I have thoroughly enjoyed so not frightened of a bit of a physical test.

  5. crackpot is the only real centre trial on this week as per regs, as for white rose the truth is it was one fool wheelying down the road and then trying to run away from the boys in blue that caused all the trouble, but for that one bad apple the boys in blue would not have bothered any of us, this year the only visit by the bibs was to a road bike accident, one bad apple etc etc

  6. Hope this is ok to post here but we need help, usual thing when organising a trial like the white rose, forty sections means forty observers needed if anyone can help with or without bikes contact myself or club via website www.westleeds.co.uk thanks to anyone who can help.

  7. In my experience, you sometimes get air stuck behind pistons in caliper, I always make sure pistons are all the way back into caliper, it then bleeds up easily, one other thing that does give the problem you have, is when seals are leaking in caliper, you usually find a little drag from brake as well, this is because instead of pistons being drawn back into caliper air is drawn in down side of seals, a way of getting last bit of air out when brakes are already bled is to jam lever down as hard as possible and leave over night this allows any remaining air to find its way back up to the highest point, hopefully the reservoir, easier to do with front brake just cable tie lever back to bars.

  8. I have to agree with the praise heaped on the 06 BETA I have just ridden mine for first time on sunday, I had an 05 300 PRO and the beta makes life so much easier (mines a 250) I think it would take a bomb to knock the back end offline, superb and seems better put together than the gasser (IMHO), I cant wait to get out on it again. :D

  9. I haven,t had any problems with stiff clutches on (3) gassers I have had but I did hear that the hydraulic piston that runs in clutch cover can be a problem with o rings sticking in casing, you might need to remove cover and fit new o rings, make sure they are well lubed with correct grease for your type of fluid, also can be a bit of a pain bleeding clutch when you have had it in pieces. sorry to be vague but as I say never had to do it myself.

p.s. I assume your lever is completely smooth and free in use.
