Great info for the SSDT, particularly liked this little gem :moon:

The Mikuni carb is designed to let out the excess petrol

Looks like someone has actually spent time in making sure it does leak properly, did a ******* good job, well done :chairfall::bouncy: no carb issues there then

Also...

1) The chain tensioner arm has a spring that fits round a lug on the inside of the swingarm. Fit a cable tie to trap the spring in place.

2) Spare wheel isn't essential but very handy to have.

3) A lockable tool box that you can chain up to the parc ferme fence is a good idea if you don't have 'support' people helping out each morning. You will need WD40, chain lube, rags, long screwdriver for poking lumps of mud out of nooks and crannies and a stiff brush. Also double up on all your backpack tools so that you don't have to worry about repacking it in a rush.

4) Unwind the knurled washer on the front tube valve, you can then see if the tube moves inside the wheel which is better than having the valve rip away.

5) Pop the wheel bearing seals and pack with marine grease.

6) Lock wire the handlebar grips on. I offered to do this for Ishy in 2004, he said "No" but regretted it later that week :chairfall:

7) Shorten the fuel line to make sure it isn't touching the barrel.
