November 14, 200718 yr Dim & distant past..MCN used to have competition, Motorcycle I think. They had a regular trials column before they went belly-up. After Nigel Birkett visited South Africa (back in the days of apartheid, naughty Nigel) the trials columnist said that a black guy had been shot in a section the day before a trial. It was a complete fabrication.
