Hi all,

Can anyone advise on what's the best tyre for muddy conditions??

At home where I do most of my riding is's pretty much all mud apart from the river bed, currently use a mitchelin x11 which came on the bike, which spins like crazy. Are there any better ones or are trials bikes just ment for the dry stuff?

Cheers

Simply put, the harder your knobbles the better it'll go in the sloppy stuff :( ..... or in proper English, the Michelin is of a softer compound than the others IRC and Vee Rubber, even Dunlop and the horrible Pirelli. Therefore it'll grip better on rocks and in burns but maybe the compromise is mud.

Why are pirellis horrible?
