March 18, 200917 yr Dave was a brilliant rider as well as a nice guy who loved his trials riding, he sadly died at a young age. The Dave Rowland Trophy Trial is of course named after him.

March 19, 200917 yr In 1977 i stayed at the Alt Nan Ross hotel at Onich while riding the Scottish. The owner of the hotel had Daves Bantam in his garage. I believe he eventually sold it back to the family. Bet BJ knows for sure...
March 19, 200917 yr Author Hi Guy's. I believe this is the bike that is back in the Mc Bride family and was used in the recent Scottish Pre 65. I have asked Pat Slinn to let me know if he knows any history about the bike while it was still at BSA. He or I will let you know. Will try and find out when the shot was taken, I recon 1966 or 7. Regard's Charlie.
