Featured Replies

AG & I tried doing a bit of marking out today for our day (Sunday) of the Reeth 3 Day. It was just a bit wet., hope it stops raining tonight so that we can have another go this weekend.

Looking at that it kinda makes me feel good bout having swine flu and being confined to barracks for the next god knows how long :D

Perce,

With the long range forcast not looking too good, would the event be even considered for and god forbid it, cancellation!!!

I dont think we will get last years weather but maybe 2007 when it was, a bit wet!!

I'd still have a go at them sections though, water or not!!!

Such a shame I couldn't get there this year!

Marking out in the discovery?

The moors are heavily drained these days & don't retain the water like a big sponge, so beck levels rise & fall rapidly. A downside to this is that all the kickers etc under the waterfalls get blown out so we've probably spent more time filling holes than scrubbing which we normally do. Hopefully everything should be good for the weekend.

No matter what the rivers are like, i'm looking forward to it! it's all good fun isn't it?!
